I'm struggling to find anything to do with my Vanguard marks! I have about 190 per character so, enough for a couple of weapons but, there really isn't anything that I want.
I already have an exotic scout rifle and hand cannon, maxed legendary auto rifles and scout rifles, snipers for every element, solar and arc fusion rifles, 2 x arc legendary HMG (I could buy a solar swarm I suppose), a couple of shotguns and even had a legendary rocket launcher drop this morning. The only thing I really 'need' is a void fusion rifle but, the vanguard qtr master doesn't sell one.
I already ahve the Grim citizen and Atheons epilogue - is there any point in buying either Dr Nope or Shadow Price? Anyone recommend a specific weapon they really like?
By the way, is anyone raiding tonight?

Shadow Price seems to be popular in the Iron Banner tournament, but probably only because it allows you to take either Invective or Plan C as your secondary.
I'd definitely pick up a Swarm in every element, but only if it has the field scout perk - one magazine can kill every enemy on the map in most cases!

I think the Shadow Price and Grim Citizen are supposed to be remarkably similar. My current swarm doesn't have field scout, nor does the Vanguard one Xur's offerings are still not being kind to Titans:

Damn you Xur, I already have the MIDA Multi Tool!! (it is worth picking up though, for anyone in the market) Looks like my massive SC collection will continue to grow for another week!!

I thought I had all the bases covered, but could really have used Fusion Rifle telemetries this week to level up Plan C for the Crucible, but it was about the only one I didn't have!

You cant attach two exotics. You need 1 exotic and 3 raid gear
OR
4 raid gear, the helmet is only possible after completing the hard mode raid

I also have a fully maxed purple and, I actually prefer it. The MIDAS feels quite light and you look around extremely fast which can sometimes make it hard to aim accurately. I enjoy using it for patrols etc. but, for hard missions and strikes, I usually go back to the legendary. The titan gauntlets are good for team play - they increase the duration of your bubble which can be an absolute god send at tricky times in the Raid/PvP, but as others have said - you'll need the Raid helmet to be level 30 with the gloves equipped, so it really negates their use.I'd definitely buy them if you have spare coins though, same with any exotic armour for your class or exotic weapon, if you can afford them without hurting your chances of getting what you really want if it pops up for sale next week, then do it.

You'd have thought after going to the effort of getting 6 people together and then making it all the way through the raid that Bungie would at least throw you a bone. Some of the design decisions in this game are truly mystifying.

I've said this before and failed to show, but I might be able to do this tonight. Although I've never done it before so if you're looking for only consummate professionals I'd understand if I'm in the second wave of invites We should be able to rattle through it pretty quickly now, hopefully 90 minutes or so.
