The raid still hates me. No armour, just shards, energies, a duplicate gun and a ship last night (admittedly, the ship is quite cool). A decent run through last night though, great fun! Good fun running the bounties afterwards too and, my VoC is now maxed ready for tonight as a result.

Mind you, having been after a legendary void fusion rifle for weeks, I randomly found one in a chest whilst farming spinmetal this morning

I still need to do the Nightfall on two of my characters and the Raid on normal for one of them. If anyone's around this evening at about 8pm and is planning on doing either of them, feel free to add me. PSN is EECCTimH.

Mars messaged me last night hes off all week for thanksgiving , so i told him to shout you for a raid. I wont be on much this weekend.

Cool, thanks. I tried it solo last night but after spending 40 minutes getting through the first stage with all the Wizards I ran out of time before I had to pick my other half up from the station. When I got back I had been booted to orbit

Great raid last night fellas. Only a couple of wipes and we did it quite quickly. I think we've all pretty much done it a few times now and know the gig.

I *may* have got the best haul (sorry!)- Some raid boots and Atheon's Epilogue. I can now "do a Speckle" and try to use it everywhere with mixed results

Just need some raid gauntlets and level 30, here I come.

Guess what? Xur is selling the Armamentarium chest piece for titans again - this is the 5th time in 7 weeks that he's sold that item and he hasn't sold a titan helment for nearly 2 months!!!

How bungie expects titans to be able to beat the hard raid is beyond me, as it's been impossible to get to level 30 now for 2 months without either an incredible piece of luck (dropping an exotic helmet in game) or completing the hard raid at level 29 (and getting lucky on the final reward drop!).

This is so true! The only points at which it seems to excel are the start when defending the plates and again when defending the centre conflux just before Atheon. For everything else, it pretty much blows!

Anyone up for a raid tonight? I was planning to join last night but, got distracted.

I also seem to have problems with the Nexus strike bounty. I ran the strike once before for the bounty and it didn't register. We reasoned this was because I had only dealt with the minotaur at the back of the top cave and didn't enter the room or get a shot on the boss. We ran it again and did it properly and got the bounty fine. However, this morning I ran it for the same bounty, made sure I entered the room from the start, got plenty of shots on the boss but, didn't get the bounty?! I wonder if it is because I was dealing with a mob of adds at the point when the boss dies but, that seems unduly harsh for a vanguard bounty! Anybody else had trouble with this one?

As I have an exotic helmet for both characters, the only Xur item of interest to me is the weapon. Once again, I'm pretty underwhelmed by this week's option. I'll probably buy it anyway as I've got close to 90 coins to burn but, I can't imagine it will be much better than Light Beware

Perhaps now is not a good time to mention that I have 2 exotic helmets for Titans in my vault and no use for either...from random drops if I remember rightly

I'd give them away if I could.

Won't be able to make any raid etc tonight, but will be free tomorrow night from 7pm until late. Happy to run through it again to help out those that haven't been through/need to go again. Otherwise, it will be the weekly/daily and then farming

The voidfang vestments are pretty decent for a lock ..... especially in Voidwalker.

The extra "seeker" on your grenade is very useful for mass trash. Also the fact you respawn with full grenade energy can be useful. Oh and changing weapons causes it to fill up too This may or may not be a glitch.

So is this better than the exotic glove jobbies?

I dont see the point in leveling up more than one exotic armour per character as can only use one anyway?? Correct me if im wrong.

All well and good for level 29. I want 2 level 30s especially as the DLC will probably be 30 minimum

Had a look at the schedule of releases for the next month to make sure...

Just bought the DLC, although Amazon's website is fubar'd, so I'll have to wait for the code (not that this matters).

Think I better prepare for the (new!) raid by leveling up my solar weapons.
