This is how our swordbearer does it, a few times where blink strike doesn't work etc, but usually fine, and allows for the maximum amount of hits, 4 per down is possible.

Really want to try making loads of orbs for the Swordbearer ready and waiting.

Interesting news in the Bungie weekly update - the weekly heroic strikes are going to be matchmade in the not too distant future at all levels, meaning no way to allow you to solo them even if you wanted to. Looks like that will come out with the 1.1.1 patch due any time now.

Since I've been on the look out for it (cheers Speckle) I got a green gun drop today with "Shoot to Loot" - sniper rifle too which helps with the pick up range

I dropped a "Shoot to Loot" sniper a short while back after Speckle's advice, but mine only allows one shot before the ammo disappears. I'd be interested to know if yours does any better. IIRC, Speckle has a scout rifle with the perk. I'm wondering if the ammo disappears after taking a certain amount of damage so Speckle can 'pick up' the ammo more times with the scout rifle than I can with the sniper.

I've 2 scouts, blue and green. I'll double check, but every time I shoot I get ammo. 2 shots on a purple can give me 4 rockets. Maybe it's on a timer? and the higher fire rate allows the scout to get more hits, I'll shoot some once and see if it disappears without a second shot.

Had my first go at sword bearing tonight and enjoyed it immensely. I kept trying to take too much out of it and going for an extra swipe, when, in reality, one wasn't available. Managed to get 4 hits on him a couple of times, which I'm happy with. We didn't complete, but I think Youngsy and I were the only ones with a fair bit of experience. We failed on each aspect at various times. Sometimes my sword bearing was crap, sometimes we got boomered and sometimes we didn't take him down quick enough/get the timing right. Not a resounding success, but not a complete disaster either.

He had ants in his pants as well!! I'm sure on most of the runs I've done, he tends to stay in the middle for at least the 1st sword, but noooooooo it seemed like he was wandering around most of the time. I hit him with 1 set of swipes then off he went. He even went down the bottom at 1 point, teleported (as in glitch) to the other side (still downstairs), then appeared at the top right where he should be.

Still need to do 1 weekly.

Highly enjoyed last night (my first ever full run). Thanks to everybody, especially Younysyr. Did make me laugh that it took him longer to explain the Ir Yut encounter to us than it did to actually kill her!! Must hold my hand up for the boomer defeats - my icebreaker accuracy was sometimes pretty shoddy. Chuffed that I managed to get the gloves and chestpiece for my warlock. Will be back on late tonight (9:30ish) if people want to complete - would be great to get a weapon drop from Crota too (not greedy much me)!!!!
