I like hand cannons.

It really isn't all that different to running it as a weekly (no burn) - just got to be more cautious on account of the lightswitch/epic/Nightfall elements and, the final fight will take longer to complete.

Which I think is 6pm - 8pm UK time, exactly when we all usually log on for Nightfalls....did they really HAVE to do this on reset day?!

Yep, those times are correct. Perhaps if you log on before 6pm will it maintain your session? Or is a full "boot everyone off" type of outage?Moog72 said:

If it were PSN maintenance, being logged in usually works but, as it says that Bungie.net and Destiny will be offline, I don't fancy taking the risk.Speckle said:

Quite a memorable introduction to that particular strike, that's for sure!
3 x Nightfalls resulted in me bagging:-
- Mask of the Third Man (I think this is the only hunter helm that I was missing)
- Arc Harms Way HMG- okay-ish perks but I have lots already
- Another void LDR 5001 but with AWFUL perks. This will be sharded.
Makes a change from the shards and energies of last week but still.
These were quite smooth and easy run throughs, to the extent that we had time to do a weekly as well. I'm happy to help anybody that needs to run through but I'll not be on until tomorrow night, now.

I'm only going to bother with the Nightfalls for the XP boost - I can't think of any exotic that I need. Mask of the Third man is hte Hunter helm I use for the Crota fight for the health regen when collecting orbs. It also means your arc blading shenanigans will use less super energy - Mask of the Third Man (I think this is the only hunter helm that I was missing)

I'm sure there will be. From what I recall, there was only S99ane, TeamPenguin and myself on at one point, hence us romping through these rather than raid. I prefer keeping a couple of nightfalls for the weekend.
That's good news about the helm! Anything that enhances arc-blade is fine by me. Plus, it'll save me having to swap the raid helm around. I can't believe that I've only ever had one drop despite numerous clears

If you purchase vanguard armour, that should bump your level up quite a bit (fully levelled vanguard armour will take you to lvl 31), otherwise you're going to find all of the endgame/DLC content a bit of a struggle even if you do get it unlocked!I'd be more than happy to jump in your fireteam and help you out if I'm not doing anything else, as I'm sure would many others (feel free to add me, PSN = Speckle)
