Looking forward to it.

Been trying to lfg into a hard raid, and it's a nightmare. People not responding(fair enough if they've found people to join), people responding and saying "sure, join" but I don't think you can without being friends or inviting and joining through party chat. fking st game is giving me the fking hump, having to spend time scouring the fking internet to find people to play their st game with. wkers! I'm gonna play some Mordor instead.

Try this site: http://www.the100.io?r=39216 I have found it really reliable and its great booking sessions in advance. You soon get to know the regulars in your group aswell

Likewise. Only done it a couple of times and had very mixed experiences. Now that I'm raiding for fun rather than gear, I'd much rather wait until our usual motley crew are all online.

I agree about randoms. Most have been not too great. Most of my time is either during the day, or late at night when most of the clan aren't on, or have pretty much finished raiding.

I want to use randoms to maximise my gjalla chances and still raid for fun with the regulars. If I only raided with friends, I'd be lucky to complete 2 a week out of a possible 8 (although normal VoG is largely redundant for rewards).

Anyone fancy some boss killing today/tonight?

Would like to do 2x Aetheon and 1x Crota on hard. I know a couple have (had?) Crota on hard, so would like to jump straight in at the bosses to maximise Gjalla chances.

Happy to do a normal Crota for people who need armour. I know Stimps and Milk want some, and Moog still needs a chest.

I decided to try running gunslinger this morning instead. I was a bit apprehensive as I chose to sacrifice the 'Don't Touch Me' gauntlets for an extra shot with the Golden gun but, I knew if I was going to get 2 knees with one sword, I needed more Firepower

I only just got 3 hits in on the second kneel because I paused a beat to make sure Crota couldn't shoot me! It all looks quite calm when I watch it back but, the adrenaline at the time was ridiculous! I knew I had to kill the Ogres and final swordbearer as quickly as possible if I was going to get to Crota before he moved.

Probably my most satisfying gaming experience ever!

Yes, I've been trying to find deccent teams all morning!. I have both Atheon and Crota on hard checkpoints.

Thanks. Another Black Hammer would have been nice I suppose but, anything else would have been surplus to requirements anyway. I'm just happy to have got it done

Congrats man, just shows that perseverance pays off in the end despite RNGesus' best efforts

I was out most of yesterday so could only get on for a quick hour of bounty running but I hope to be around later today if there is a group to have a crack at Crota normal perhaps? Need the raid chest and tons of shards plus I'd like to pick up any of the raid weapons. Blackhammer would be most welcome to compliment my new Suros primary.

I now have the blinding bubble for my Titan and one more upgrade of that helmet gets me back to lvl 31

Cheers Dude! You're right, it looks much easier than it is and what you don't see in the video are the 20 failed attaempts as I experimented with different loadouts, builds and sub classes. There were many, many deaths!

What made it difficukt more than anything was the constant various time pressures of killing the sword guy quickly (not always easy because he hides and the thrall have other ideas!), Crota moving as he is much harder to get to at the sides, Ogres and killing them quickly, enragement etc.

Incidentally, I have you to tthank for drumming it into me that I should always check that my rockets are loaded

My failure to ensure I was loaded led to the failure to down Crota on the last sword during the first week on HM... which led to a wipe. I'll never make that mistake again!

Saw someone solo kill Crota (and the entire raid) without using guns.

Was a bit cheating as it was mainly just many fusion grenades but still impressive.
