Nice perks. I have a Crypt dweller with the same and it is effective, although I don't have a FB for comparison.

Been working away all week so I'm behind, but if anyone still needs to do the weekly Heroic, I'm around a bit this afternoon and evening.

Jase had a nightfall to do. He messaged me yesterday, but no one else was on and I couldn't face it with just two of us. Dunno if he's on. Happy to help as a trio, but I'm fully nightfalled for the week.

I've still got Nightfall to do this week on two of my characters if anyone wants a crack at it - well, wants is perhaps the wrong word where the Omnigul strike is concerned - if anyone still needs to do it. That's better.

Finally got Rank 4 in the Iron Banner, got my Jolders Hammer and managed to get a dropepd Gheleon's as well. I re-roleld the Gheleons a couple of times, stopping when I hit Zen Moment, Armor-piercing/Hammer forged/Custom optics and Firefly, then moved onto Jolders. Now, because RNG hates me, I kept getting useless perks like Hip fire accuracy, or increased accuracy while crouching, but I finally settled (and by settled I mean I've got two motes of light left, and this was a very decent roll) on Arc damage, Rodeo, Field Scout and Who's next. Who's next is basically useless but even if had any motes left, I'm not sure I'd be risking a re-roll having burned through forty motes to get this far!

Iron Banner weapons can be rerolled for different perks at the IB vendor. Costs 2 motes of light I think.

Exactly that.

Any Iron Banner weapons can be re-rolled by Lord Saladin whenever the Iron Banner comes around, changing the elemental type for special and heavy weapons and changing the entire perkset. Each roll costs two motes of light, and the resultant perks are picked from the possible pot at random. If you're after a very specific roll, it can takes hundreds of motes before you get it.

There's 3 variables, damage type and 2 perks. Damage number and stats do not change. Rolling resets the XP.

If you've got 2/3 that you want, I wouldn't bother. Damage type is the most likely to get what you want as there's less possibilities.

Just made it to Rank 5. I hate crucible. The 3 remaining weapons I want keep killing me, vex, hawkmoon and thorn.

After using Thorn so much, I'm having a go with my Hawkmoon. Tis good, although I keep on expecting them to die with damage over time perk. They just kill me instead

I'm not sure why, but I can't get on with Hawkmoon. It's killed me plenty, so I know what it can do, but I have far more success with Thorn. Maybe it suits my playstyle better? Whatever the reason, Hawkmoon and I simply don't get along.

Thanks for that Gents, was a really good run. Also - dare I say it -That was also the first time I've been in a group that has done the bridge encounter in its entirety without cheesing it. Normally one or two make it over legit, then someone wants to cheese.

Still no Black Hammer for me, but I look forward to tackling Hard Mode at some point. Once again, thanks, that was a lot of fun.

Bridge should always be done legit (unless it's dragging on and on and people are getting despondent). Best part of both raids for me. Was a pleasure.

Got 2nd black hammer and found verdict (from VoG). Still no hunger dagnammit!

Haven't finished HM crota this week, and got the crota CP, also wouldn't mind doing the templar on hard (also CP'd). I'll be on at 22:00 if anyone's up for a late(ish) one.

I've actually done some Iron Banner for the first time and enjoying it. Rank 3 out of 5 so will finish off getting to 4 at least tomorrow. Not sure I will try and get to 5 for the auto rifle, not sure I would use it really.

The auto rifle is pretty much garbage now, though the roll on it is about as good as it gets. I've saved up just enough glimmer to get a second jolders, so well try and roll it for Void or Solar, Hopefully be good enough to finally stop using the older 300 attack Deviant Gravity and Corrective Measure, both of which have served me tremendously.

I do have a glimmer problem again though, by my reckoning, if I buy the Jolders, I'll have a whopping 81 glimmer left...
