I got one at nightfall and one at hard crota yesterday. Trying to get a second character made up today so I can double up on nightfalls and raids. Got enough armour to make another level 32 straight away almost, the gear just needs ranking up. Takes so long to get one to level 20. How people have 3 fully upgraded characters I do not know?

No probs. Apart from the usaual glitches and the rockets being a bit uncoordinated once or twice, my swordbearing was atrocious. I did all the raid solo yesterday apart from Crota, who I spent a couple of hours trying to complete and I'm sworded out. I don't know why I volunteered for it. After Speckle said that he wasn't that bothered, I thought "oh, I don't particularly want to do it either".I've still never done vog so would be up for that at some point.

Log on and pretty much everyone is playing something else, bugger
Only one or two about, so not really raid numbers. Ran some bounties and became bored pretty quickly.
Still, grabbed the first materials chests for both chars in CE and found that explosive rounds on my hunter's scout rifle are excellent against the thrall. First gun I've used that has been half decent against them. If only it had firefly too, it would be perfect for the job.

Apologies to lovechild for having to cut and run so abruptly this afternoon, I made my call with about 30s to spare 
Still, at least the bridge got done in the end and I've learned about doing the plate despite the seemingly random totem deaths that occurred, all good stuff though 
4 shards and 2 bits of duplicate armour that can be sharded helps towards my total of 35 that I still need to get to level 32, plus I'll grab the materials chest for both chars in the Abyss too now it's been reset, so a chance of 4 more
Does getting that far mean that I now have a thrallway checkpoint to attempt or is that in your game?

You should have that checkpoint if you were part of the fireteam when you completed the bridge.
