That's mainly my fault trying the blocking method. It's only the 2nd attempt, but I think I blocked him a couple of times for a minute or so each, so getting the hang of it.
I think we had 3/4 exotics from Ir Yut and Crota, and a FB and 2 foils from Oracles/Templar. Did Jase get the FB? I think he got 2 of the Crota exotics.
Nah, it's nobody's fault since it's always fun trying and seeing new methods of doing any part of the game else how would anyone find an optimal strategy? As I mentioned at the time I didn't even realise what the blocking method was trying to do until you explained it - keep the Templar in the middle rather than teleporting about and stopping his shield coming up I think we had 3/4 exotics from Ir Yut and Crota, and a FB and 2 foils from Oracles/Templar. Did Jase get the FB? I think he got 2 of the Crota exotics.
I think it must have been Jase who got FB as it was someone who's voice I didn't instantly recognise
For those of us still chasing Gjallarhorn, this might be worth a look...

Basically, if you have a legendary heavy engram, store up a load of blue engrams and decrypt them until one pops up with a legendary (anything excpet materials), then instantly open the legendary and it will always decrypt into an exotic. With a heavy engram, odds of it being Gjallarhorn should be 1 in 4 (though in reality I suspect Dragon's Breath and Truth are weighted higher than Ghorn, I've had several of those, but no horn!).
It apparently also works with other weapons classes as well, so if you need a Patience & Time, Plan C etc, try it with a legendary special engram, if you need Last Word, Red Death, try it with a legendary primary engram.
Now, in the interest of fairness, I'll point out I tried this this morning. I decrypted 27 blue engrams and not a single one turned into a legendary quality item, so the video creators suggestion that 15 blues to one legendary is a good ratio leaves something to be desired. I'll save up some more blues and try again next weekend, I'll update then if it actually works.

The conversion rate from blue to legendary is much higher than 15:1, in my experience. I horde blue engrams from all 3 characters and decrypt them all through one character, quite often 5 or so at a time. I suspect it's much more like 30 or more to 1.https://youtu.be/yIhbYzru_b0

Also the conversion of a heavy to an exotic resulting in a Ghron is much less than 4:1, there's only one type of heavy engram, so they can convert to maching guns too. Even if it were even, that makes it more like 6:1.
So, at best you're looking at 180 blue engrams to 1 Ghorn on average and then you've got to get a legendary heavy engram to convert in the first place!
Having said that, I'm so desperate for a Ghorn I will be trying it!

As it happens, I do have a legendary heavy to hand, earned from a Daily story mission earlier this week. By luck, I put it in the vault, where it still lies!
With regards to conversion ratio, as I said, I think the 15:1 suggested in the video is way on the low side, and I'd even suggest that 30:1 may be as well. I was going to suggest something like 50:1 based on my own experiences.
The 4:1 for the Horn factors in that an exotic heavy can only be one of four weapons; Dragon's Breath, Truth, Thunderlord or Gjallarhorn. Super Good Advice isn't attainable from an engram, so all things being equal you've got a 25% chance of getting Ghorn from the engram assuming this works as intended. Even then, I suspect the odds are weighted towards Dragon's Breath and Truth, just because I've had four or five of each drop, yet only one Thunderlord and I've seen even seen a Gjallarhorn drop once in the wild!

Just did a full run of VoG on Hard mode. Still no fatebringer, still no vision of confluence - but! - I did manage to grab myself a Vex Mythoclast. Tha may not be a particularly big deal to many of you, but I've run VoG at least a dozen times on hard, never managed to get it to drop and I may have shouted quite loudly when it popped up...
That just leaves Patience and Time, Necrochasm and Gjallarhorn outstanding...

Reset is now 10am UK time after the move to daylight savings (I think)Yep, just checked daily reset is 16hrs away which puts it at 10am tomorrow
I've had a pretty good couple of weeks really. In addition to Thunderlord, multiple Suros and Hawkmoon drops, I've got my Titan to level 30, and fianlly got my hands on the Vex Mythoclast on sunday, as per my post.
Ran three Nightfalls, two of which were with Stimpy, absolutely murdered through every thing in record time and got...
So yeah, been a good few weeks. And, Stimps, sorry again. I may have been a little over-excited!

Me and Anton managed to break the Nightfall this morning. Got to the snipey bit, went down and deployed ghost, cleared a wave of adds, got told to re-deploy ghost (eh, this is odd!) then the same adds appear. Clear them again, next wave spawn, all seems good. Clear next wave, get told to re-deploy ghost (???) Tim joins us, first wave of adds spawn (again!), we clear them and then.....nothing. No more adds spawn, ghost happily deployed. We are basically stuck in the middle of Nightfall with nothing to kill and nowhere to go - it was most odd.
Wiped in the end and ran through again without issue. Anton & Tim got 18 ascendant shards between them and I got a crap shottie to dismantle. Think that'll be my first and last NF this week - too much effort for zero reward.

At long, long, long last... Gjallarhorn.
Nice one, congrats I think mine must be with the Postmaster or something I must have missed everyone yesterday then as when I looked, no-one was about so I didn't bother jumping on however I have become rather hooked on Borderlands again having picked up the Handsome Collection at the weekend (Speckle, that's your fault! ). It plays really well on the PS4, much better than the previous generation and there is some DLC on there that I haven't played before, so plenty to get stuck into.Having said that, I'm not abandoning Destiny and will be looking to do the NFs / weeklies this week if anybody fancies helping out and sees me on.
I did see a tweet from Bungie that the Winter's Run strike changes had been unintentional, but they don't elaborate what they were. Perhaps that's what caused your endless spawn loop Speckle? Dunno.

It does appear that is the bit of the Strike that they 'accidentally' broke.

Well done for your Horn.
Same happened to us on NF. Apparantly Dinklebot needed more time.
Same for Jase and myself, need to hang around when deploy the flying wingnut. Perhaps a "fix" by Bungie ti stop sniping from the ship thingy at the back?Same happened to us on NF. Apparantly Dinklebot needed more time.
No Giggyhorn this week for me, did get a Truth tho.
