So, did anyone crack level 34 PoE?

I struggled through level 32 with 2 randoms and it took us an age to finish off the final boss - Cabal with shifting shields and juggler.

Moog, the vault in the Reef is between the post master and the bounty handler. It's rather innocuous liking but is there!

I blasted through story last night and had a run through the new strike all of which was good fun. Will hopefully hit PoE this evening, maybe give nightfall a go as well.

Kaney, Jase and me got to the 5th round, Urzok with Solar burn, we thought we will nail this. 0230am (for me) we finally had to give in, due to the floor on fire and wizards beasting us, was awesome and I think we can do it with an earlier start but I have never had to move so much in a game.
I think the solar modifier effected the floor also which was intense.

I see some serious key farming in my future before going in with the next character.

Sounds like the game is at last challenging again.

I saw before I called it a night you guys hit level 33 which is awesome.

When I finally got on I ran through the story with Youngsyr and Kryptonkid.
I really enjoyed it.

Defo have to farm those keys, as there is no weekly reset so you can go to treasure room as often as you like as long as you complete the round of POE.

I think with TOO starting Friday the POE will quieten down a bit.

I still have two NF to do and keen to have a go at the POE tonight.

Ran through all the story missions, the Strike, Nightfall and Prison of Elders on my Warlock(on lvl 28) last night. Then everything again apart from Prison of Elders this morning with Daddy Hunter. I couldn't help noticing (again) that most of the story missions are on existing maps and it is a shame it only took a few hours to run through all the new content. Mind you, I did like the fact one of the missions took us into the Vault...I hadn't expected that at all.

Picked up a few new weapons but, none of them seem particularly exciting. Re-rolled a handcannon a few times but, all the perks seem a bit 'meh'

Sadly, the lack of a raid feels significant now all the other content is here. Prison of Elders seems like fun but, as only a 3 man activity, it is hardly a substitute.

Looking forward to trying Prison of Elders on a higher level with the regulars but, I can't really see myself embracing the grind this time around. Already I have no vault space and no space in my inventory.

Having said all that, I will of course be on later to do it all again with Baby Hunter thumbup

Nope, just a mote of light, 25 weapon parts and 250 glimmer I think. Etheric Light is to upgrade to max damage for legendary armour and weapons.

Completed the level 32 PoE last night which was fairly tough. This gives you an armor core which you can use to purchase a piece of light 42 gloves, if you have used an exotic shard to get an exotic piece of armor to light level 42, then level 33 is very achievable.
I didn't buy the gloves, was very disappointed they have a strength role and also pretty disappointed that its the only bit of armor you can buy, was at least hoping for the options for different roles.
Enjoying the new content otherwise, I thought the new strike was great and the story was so much better than crotas end.

This is true still would prefer at least the same gloves with a different role option

Can they be re-rolled?

What is the difference between the Queen's armour that drops in Prison of Elders and the uprated Vanguard armour you can just buy? Can both armour types be upgrated to level 34?

I was level 31 and got the Queen's Leg Armour (and a Gallyhorn) from doing the lv28 Prison of Elders first time. I then bought arm armour from the Vanguard and this took me to 32. Does this make the whole Crota thing totally redundant now?

Yes because gear you buy is 36 light, and can be ascended to 42 light. But so can Crota gear, VoG gear, and all legendaries.

From an armour point of view, I suspect it does (although can you upgrade it to the new light level?)

Am I now the only person in the game who doesn't have a flippin Gjally? biggrin

I didn't have time last night to do much so will be on tonight and up for anything.

Got loads of new legendary weapons from my engrams, plus a sidearm which is a bit crap but something different. Now onto the almighty grind to level them all up.

That's a shame. The first thing I did was level up my g-horn to the new maximum and it absolutely destroys everything.

Agreed, was a great session thanks chaps. It's definitely a much more enjoyable and entertaining experience when you play as part of a team.
On first impressions, I'm quite happy with the new content, at least what I've seen. Although as mentioned, it is mainly re-hashed original maps, it still feels quite fresh to me.

Gonna make an effort to be more sociable and join the chat parties. So hopefully see you guys online at some point.
