That's a good shout actually... we've tried to organise an evening of VoG on a couple of occasions but it has never quite happened. People have just done their own thing (me included) when online. We need to set a firm-ish day and time and somebody start it and send out fireteam requests.

Completed the raid on level 25 yesterday and i didnt get completlty owned , i managed to get raid boost and chest armour so i should be good for level 29 fully upgraded .

I'm definitely up for this - I've ordered a headset which I assume will be essential , it should arrive in the next few days. I can't do Saturday (running my first ultra marathon Sunday morning, yikes!) but, later on Sunday should be alright assuming I survive

I'd be up for a VoG run on Sunday. Finally leveled up to a point where i wouldn't be a liability (already regretting saying that...)

As you say headsets are likely to be essential to coordinate the 3 teams you need to split into. Also to inform others of your imminent demise/awesome cross map no-scope sniping.

Completed the raid today pretty quickly thanks to some experienced players doing all the work.

I reckon the first stage should be possible with as few as 3 level 28s who know what they're doing and have the right weapons.

Well, my headseat has 'been dispatched' at last! I am a 90% yes for Sunday but, might have to give it a miss depending on how exhausted I am after my race. Friday night would be better for me if anyone fancies it.

I should say I am definitely in the 'no idea what I'm doing' camp as far as the Raid is concerned but, happy to take instruction from anyone who does. I'm a lvl 27 Hunter at the moment and one more ascendant shard could get me to lvl 28. Does anyone fancy helping me with the daily heroic on lvl 28 later tonight? I tried to solo yesterday's but, couldn't quite get over the finish line (to but it another way, I got my @rse handed to me by the Vex!!)

Itried that but, will try again. I seem to keep on getting motes of light or ascendant energy - it's like they know what I need!! I'll send you an invite tonight, I should be on around 7pm

The daily heroic guarantees two legendary materials each day (either shards or energy) on level 28.

It's only a basic story mission, so as long as you take a few ammo packs you can usually do it solo even at level 26.

Sunday night raid is good for me I have a level 29 maxed out titan with pretty much all the good weapons.
