Ah yes, thanks for all the assistance! Not quite sure how I managed not to die on the Venus strike, if only I'd had the bounty!!

From about 19.30 onwards I reckon, be good to do the nightfall also. Meant to be a tough one this week!

Sounds good, I'll be on til about 9:30 so should have plenty of time. Although, last time I did Nightfall, I spent half the time dead and in an unrevivable location!! I will try not to let that happen again!!

Is there a PH Clan yet?

I've got a few online friends playing the game, but they're predominantly in their own Clans and as a result tend to play with their own. I'm only level 22 at the moment, playing a Warlock, and need help getting through some of the harder Strikes.

Guys, the exotic bounty choice dropped for me yesterday and I picked the same one as you Flat-out and now just need to complete the strike and take out the enemy.

I had a quick crack at it on my own today and it's pretty straight-forward until you get to the 4 witches who just pound you with constant shots. I reckon it will need at least a couple of us and probably juggling some weapons with ammo packs.

I started with a solar sniper and an arc HMG and that combo can take on all comers until the witches. I suspect switching to a solar rocket launcher or HMG when they appear will be the key. A solar fusion rifle might also work.

LVL 24 Warlock Here but currently running a Gjallarhorn Exotic Solar Rocket if thats helps.. wont be around till later in week however.

From what I've seen, there's generally a way to "cheese" what appear to be difficult missions in Destiny - even in the Raid you could (until yesterday at least) push the two bossess off the side of the map rather than kill them "properly".

In Queen's Wrath at level 21 you could get all the armour just by doing the Earth strike over and over.

I suspect the way to do the witches is to lure them into the corridor on the side of the room and then pound all 4 of them at once with solar rockets/HMGs.

That doesn't work dude... I managed to (by myself I might add ) get to that bit a few times when trying yesterday. They chase you into the corridor(!) but from what I've read, they WON'T chase you all the way back into the room in which you kill the first witch. The problem is, if you die when trying this, the Hive in the first room re-spawn so you'll be running into a death-trap.

Reckon we can do this, as it seems very straight-forward(!) from there. I've read about how you can use the room before the corridor to Phogoth to lure the waves of wizards before Xyor shows and equally s/he follows you in.

I've got a solar sniper and (unfortunately but exotic) void rocket launcher.

I'll be on later tonight. Give me a shout if you want to give it a try. I'll no doubt be trying (again) anyway!

Not sure what was going on with that weekly at level 22 - was insane trying to get through those Wizards?!

I had a bounty to do on my titan that was level 26 and epic on the same level and it was easier!

A few times I've gone to The Tower and I'm the only person there, the place is a ghost town, without even the guy who hands out bounties or any of the people selling stuff. Anyone else had this glitch?

No problem, I got the jist when you asked for Phogoth to be left alone, glad you both got the cannons. God I hate Phogoth though, feels like he takes forever to die sometimes.
