Funny thing, I am an early adopter! I've been playing the game since October (so I'm well versed in running activities under-level) but according to my stat profile I've actually never finished a Normal Mode VoG run. I've done several runs that have finished at Gorgon Maze, Gatekeeper, even Atheon, but must have just ran out of time to see those runs through to completion. You could always downgrade your armour and weapons to 25 and 270 and do it like us early adopters did in the beginning!
Once most people figured out that Hard Mode wasn't really that much harder and gave the chance of better rewards (Fatebringer/Mythoclast), I simply stopped playing on normal. I've finished hard mode VoG 27 times apparently (I thought it would be more than that in all honesty!), but I couldn't tell you when I last played it on normal - at least five months ago I'd wager!
Did 3x NFs with Lovechild and Zombie (cheers) and came out of it quite well - Obsidian Mind for my rarely used warlock and the new Khepri's Sting gloves for my secondary alt hunter. And I was also given an exotic bounty (for Bad Juju that I have already done) but I don't think I've ever received a bounty from a NF before, so something "new" I suppose
Solar burn on Valus though, jeez, how quick and easy was that compared to last time around? (Not my) Gjallahorn completely obliterated him in about 20s
Hope you guys made it to the Gatekeeper in VoG and apologies again I couldn't be there but it was getting a little late in the evening for me

I am almost certain that Gjallahorn will be sold this Friday as it is a cheap way to appease the masses after all this Taken King exclusive content debacle. I do hope that there is a weapon or two in the Taken King with similar desirability. I miss the days of desparately wanting an Icebreaker and having the entire clan parade theirs in front of me to further rub my nose in it.....Ah, happy memories!!

My main focus this weekend is going to be Baby Titan but, that will probably include some level 34 runs for the etheric light. Hoping to drag some regulars into lvl 35 Sat evening/Sunday afternoon (Yes Singh, I'm looking at you!)

No problem sir! Stayed on afterwards for some crucible with Lovechild and Gray, unfortunately we chalked up a fair few losses
Just couldn't get into a rhythm (although many cans of ale may account for my woeful performance)!Definitely up for 32/34 PoE myself, at least need some armor cores. Hunter is up to 34 now, hopefully if Variks has boots next week my Warlock and possibly Titan will hit it too

The number of WTF?! looks and people inspecting my kit (no heavy, no grenades, no super and no higher jump!) was quite funny. Quickly leveled up to level 8 there. Surprisingly, I didn't do too badly and had the delight of my first Titan Smash. I then missed the next 6. K/d continues to deteriorate but who cares?! I like punching people.

I too am liking the Titan (I'm levelling Defender class first) - I am quite protective over my bubble though and don't like other people sharing it

There was an epic, epic fail yesterday. I was too shocked to take a vid. It would have been perfect for Friday. Essentially, was playing control on Exodus Blue. A team of 4 were capping C. I decided to Titan smash them all but activated the super WAY too early. Missed them all. Stood up to see the team look at me with a WTF?! Three murdered me in cold blood whilst the fourth pointed at me and then started dancing.
