a little part of me has died inside seeing you running around as a shotgun wielding Smash Bro
I know. I feel like a hooligan. So uncouth. Call me Asbo from now on. Just seen all of these vids now. Incredible skills... with the NLB in particular . The arc-blading was just the icing on the cake
Speckle- SHAME!
Level 35 Skolas was fun. And, I st you not... I had a dream about pringles! . Anyway, the rewards from beating Skolas are really pants. Like REALLY pants.

I think a lot of the frustration is that the rewards often don't match the effort required - you were lucky to get the cipher and an elemental weapon, more often than not you'll get neither, just an etheric light, an armour core and a weapon core (all of which can be had by doing the quicker and easier levels).
I didn't get an elemental sadly, just a vanilla auto rifle from the chest which was swiftly dismantled. It's been an odd day; I spent five or so hours at the hospital with my family last night saying goodbye to my Dad's mum, who was 88 and has been poorly for a while, and having said my goodbyes last night it transpires she wa still kicking this morning. False alarm. Fired up the PS4, did a couple of PoE runs (thanks to Speck and Stimps) and called up my Dad as 2pm (visiting hours) approached to see if it was ok to visit. Nan had died about ten minutes before I called.
I wouldn't say I'm completely broken up about it; she was old and had been ill for quite some time, but obviously there's a degree of sadness over the loss of a family member. Rubinho, if I seemed a bit distant and unhelpful earlier, my apologies, but this is why!
On the flip side, and on a more positive note, I did manage a couple of excellent weapon re-rolls; a pre-HoW Radegast's Fury with Grenades and Horsehoes, Javelin and Clown Cartridge (pretty much PvP perfection in my eyes), a full-auto Void Her Courtesy (which means I now have a full-auto option for every element) and a Party Crasher shotgun with Shot Package, Rifled Barrel and Luck in the Chamber. That thing will be a beast in PvP.
Condolences again on your families loss.
I have to admit I am a jammy git, this week on only my second nightfall I landed the Gally and last night on my first full run through on the VoG landed me Ice Breaker at the end!
It was bloody painful, 3 hours, mostly the last part which is pretty easy to be honest. The whole way through all I had received was bloody energy and material, but ended on a high.
Titan is now at 15, didn't really play it much at the weekend with the live FoS coverage on YouTube but should hopefully take him I to the cruicible this week.

Sorry to hear that Sims
Well one warlock gone but not forgotten, and kindertitan has replaced him.
At the dizzy height of level 2. Going to level up via Crucible as that was the quickest last time for my hunter.
Not been on much this week and will be the same for next couple of weeks. So Titan progress will be steady.

What is it with all these Titans now? I've made one as my second, but still way prefer my Hunter. (though the bubble is very useful and I can't stop melee-ing )
I decided to start a Titan for a bit of variety. I had two warlocks. I guess it's a way of keeping the game "fresh". I'm looking forward to the different play style.SimianWonder said:
Multiple classes adds more variety if people have been playing the game for a length of time as Shane and Speck have been. Also, Defender Titans are really useful in Prison of Elders.
I can understand having one of each class, but it seems that everyone's gone and got themselves a titan recently. (not that I'm complaining, I need to level mine as its stuck at 12 for now )It's been skewed slightly as a lot of the long termers who post here have been using warlocks and hunters primarily and multiples thereof and so switching to a titan makes it seem like lots of people are suddenly doing it.
That or they have come to realise that titans rock
But seriously, the next DLC brings a really interesting subclass for titans so that's as good a reason as any if you don't already have one.
I too started with a hunter but switched to a titan quite early on and I prefer the titan in all honesty

RNGesus smiled on me yesterday and gifted me a Fatebringer! It is now half a bubble away from being fully upgraded and I can now appreciate why it is rated so highly, love it!
Bring on those arc burn Nightfalls
Sorry I couldn't join your party this morning Speckle. I was literally on for 10 mins to pick up some bounties before the reset to run later in order to speed level the newly acquired FB

Three Crota HM runs, only one Word of Crota and some energies to show for it from the big guy himself. Bah!
EDIT; to make matters worse, two of those runs involved a Fireteam leader who sounded around thirteen. That's right, we're talking a squeaker. To compound matters, not only was he adamant that he be allowed to show off his Word of Crota as proof that he'd beaten HM Crota before, he had a "friend" in Party chat but not in the fireteam. This was, of course, yet another squeaker, Grade A this time. And. They. Would. Not. Shut. Up.
One of the fireteam politely asked them to keep quiet for a few moments while we finished the raid, but when the intruding squeaker didn't oblige I'm afraid I may have snapped at them, telling them rather less politely to stop flapping their gums.

You can mute squeakers in party chat - go to the chat page on the PS menu, select their name and hit options, then select "mute". Apparently Iron Banner is back again today at 6pm?? The last one was only a couple of weeks back and wasn't there more of a gap between these events last time around, so I'm wondering why are they running it again so soon?
As an aside, is Iron Banner armour light level 42?
I might give it a shot this time around if only to be able to grab a couple of bits of etheric light, potentially.
