I've done my three runs but I'm happy to do another if you need numbers. Seventeen HM completions and counting, still no crux...
I've just checked after our game this afternoon and I have 6 HM completions. Crux dropped on the 3rd or 4th but it did for at least three in the fireteam at the same time, just shows how random RNG can be!You lot all have Gjallys though, so I think the balance is there
I do at least now have my Hunger of Crota at long last courtesy of a run through with Stimps and Sims. First time I've dragged the warlock through the raid and he isn't fully unlocked yet, but seems the warlock magic did the trick, cheers chaps!
Lots of things to upgrade at the moment
I knew that "Moments of Triumph" wheel was lying ... for ages it was showing me as only having found 19 out of 20 golden chests with me apparently missing one on the Moon. I was sure I'd found them all and indeed I checked all the locations again and found no more.
Resigned to it being "glitched" I didn't bother with it again. Despite finding no more chests on any character, lo and behold this morning I have now found 20 out of 20
So just Skolas then ...

Have just had a quick go at re-rolling an "Ill Will" hand cannon I dropped - this is the infamous Baby Hawkmoon.
I've now got final round and luck in the chamber on it, with small bore increasing stability and range and dropping the magazine capacity.
It only has 7 rounds to start with, so will now have less than that (5? rounds), one with 1/3 more damage and the final round with 1/3 more damage.
Nice! That's an identical roll to my Loner.Rebel but better overall- your mag size is slightly smaller. Nice one! I've now got final round and luck in the chamber on it, with small bore increasing stability and range and dropping the magazine capacity.

...not that I'm ANY good with any gun at the minute. I fired up the PS4 yesterday after 3 weeks away and couldn't hit anything. I'm sure dregs have learnt to strafe extremely well. I then went into the crucible and ended up with 1 kill and 23 deaths. This is NOT like riding a bike. The rehab is going to be long and painful.
Good to be back... even though most of you chumps are playing Rocket League.

Moog, I'm more than happy to run through a 35 PoE with you.
I'm also going to try and hit Trials this weekend - no, I don't enjoy it, but have yet to visit the lighthouse, and it's one of the only things in the game I'm yet to do so why on earth not?
Cheers Sims, but I need to hit level 34 and possibly / probably ascend a couple of weapons before I can even consider it I think. I wouldn't want to waste anyone's time by being underpowered for the job, just not fair.I'm also going to try and hit Trials this weekend - no, I don't enjoy it, but have yet to visit the lighthouse, and it's one of the only things in the game I'm yet to do so why on earth not?
Plenty of time to get it done, I just need to do more PoE in general. Trouble is, I've got tons of things to upgrade at the moment and that tends to get my focus (duplicate raid weapons, 2 x warlock classes, some exotic armour items, some exotic weapons, exotic bounties, etc, etc) and I've got all sorts of things half started and never completed which are starting to bug me for some OCD reason
Certainly have a crack at Trials, I will at some point - seems to be the quickest way to amass etheric light too if you still need it. That guy you met via LFG sounds like he could make it easier for you at least.
As an aside, is Pocket Infinity worth pursuing? I'm still at the dismantle rare fusion rifles stage (one away), but I've read you need to hand over 50 special ammo synths to finish it which seems a waste if the gun is garbage (not in the least interested in having it for the sake of it). Opinions out there suggest don't bother with it, what do you all think?

but hopefully a flawless ToO might occur and I can sleep happy.
Tell everyone how that worked outWOW! We got MURDERED. I'm an average PvP'er and can usually muster a few wins, but last night was something else. Luck does play a part in whom you're matched against, and we got a horrendous run last night. I randomly checked some of the stats and pretty much everyone had k/ds of 1.7+.
I do think it's a lot better to play during the day. There were quite a few instances of lag last night where what I was seeing was obviously a second behind what was actually happening. Top spawn on Cauldron, run into the room, scope into B, the door starts it open animation and suddenly there's a lightning grenade behind me (no grenade was thrown through the 1" gap on my screen) and I got shot with TLW before the door was even half open. Headshot, what headshot? No damage sustained whatsoever. All you seem to get matched with is Americans, and the connection always goes in their favour. I can't believe there's not closer teams to play against.
I am in no doubt that most of these opponents would destroy me even with a stable connection. If you're a good PvP'er there's a good chance that your skills can carry you through, but for an average player, I think it's generally better to not play outside of normal hours to give yourself a fighting chance.
I'd be up for more today/tonight though. I'm nothing if not persistent!

It is quite fun to use but not worthy of the exotic slot. Having said that, there are some monster PvP players that are very good at using it! A perk is returning a shot/pellet to the magazine and given how unstable it is, this happens quite frequently. People therefore pull the trigger when turning a corner and BANG. If you're not into collecting exotics then I wouldn't bother.
ToO is very hit and miss - there are a lot of extremely good teams playing it, but also some pretty average ones.
If you can string a run of 7 games against the latter together, you get your pass to the Lighthouse.
The random maps seemed to help my team's progress this weekend, we went 7-0 (9-0 on the card) on our first and only run and only had one close match. Usually we typically go 6-2 (8-1 on the card) and get slaughtered at least one game.

Got this game the other week and enjoying it so far, but this has to be the most impenetrable thread on PH! Is there a glossary somewhere so that I can get the slightest idea what you lot are talking about?
Most of us have been playing the game for 10 months now and are completely focussed on end game content, which won't be relevant for you for a while yet.Probably best to look up some beginners guides, get to grips with the game and then pop back in here with any questions or requests for help.
Here's a good start:
