I've not done any NFs and I'm not bothered. I have an Elder Cipher at 525 points (for my 1st Queenbreakers Bow) but I've had that for over a month. Not *that* bothered.

Much upgrading still to do on the warlock and I must do some PoE especially if 32 / 34 are relatively straightforward this week. Should be around over the weekend a bit when I'm not rebuilding a garden bench that is.

Borderlands is good fun - like Destiny on Acid with ridiculous guns. It also has the 3 man fireteam co-op element too. I know Kaney, Mars, Anton & Penguin all have it.
I found it quite refreshing the last time I got bored of Destiny. The graphics and shooting mechanics aren't as good but, you forget about that pretty quickly tbh.

War Thunder looks quite good. The base game is free, and you can purchase add ons. I've downloaded it but have yet to play it.
It's a WWII plane and tank simulator with no ground forces. You can have arcade controls, intermediate or simulator. It looks like a genteel version of Battlefront.
I'll give it a go and report back.

Whilst Iron Banner is evidently unpopular in these parts at present, I've been enjoying it enough to make the grind for etheric light not too bad. I haven't had much lag and only seen 1 person using a clear lag switch. Anyhoo, i have 2 questions:
1) Does it take the same amount of XP per rank or, for example, is rank 5 a big step up from rank 4 that takes ages compared to going from 2 to 3? I'm up to level 3-and-a-bit after maybe 6 to 7 hours of play completing 3 or 4 bounties a day (I was struggling with the Machine Lord one as i didn't realise you couldn't switch guns or reload. D'oh!) I'm just trying to get a feel for whether I'd continue ranking up to level 5 at the same pace or whether the last step is an uber grind?
2) Are there restrictions on what Iron Banner weapons drop and when? I've seen people saying online that you have to be rank 3 for them to drop, but i seemingly disproved that last night when Radegast's Fury dropped for me whilst i was at the top of rank 2. But whilst I've seen a few Radegast's and Felwinters drop, I've not seen any of the other 7 weapons. Granted Efrideet's Spear is purchasable from the Iron Banner bloke so maybe that one doesn't drop in game, but what about the others? I mainly ask as i'd like Jolder's Hammer....

This has now changed to being a random drop of any of the weapons and dropping from at least rank 2 onwards, possibly earlier.
For instance I dropped Jolder's Hammer at rank 2 in this tournament.
I think the gap from rank 3 to 4 to 5 is the same, 2,400 points?
Fun evening last night, did my final HM Crota run (including one method of distracting Boomers that I'd never seen before which involved jumping behind one of the boomer towers and shooting a wall which means the Boomers shoot the wall trying to get to you rather than the swordbearer) and once again he refused to drop a Crux, not only for me, but for anyone in the fireteam. Git.
Quivver, Matty and I made hard work of PoE 34. Three hunters made dismantling pretty easy, but surviving Urrox's rage was tough. At least until I swapped out my hunter for my Titan. Ward of Dawn in hand, we did it second time around.
Also did my good deed for the day and shared Gorgon Maze CP with Zombie. He didn't get his long-sough Gjally, but he did pull a Plan C, which he didn't have, on his first character so that was a pretty nice result.
