I'm pretty sure it is all part of the 'Hunger Pangs' questline, which the bungie website tells me I have on my Warlock but, it's contents are 'classified' so, I have to wait until later to confirm.

It feels like I've just got started. I can imagine how disappointed people must have been if it just became a grind after getting to 20, but i totally see now why it has people hooked. It's very cool to have a FPS where you suddenly come across random players engaged in some massive firefight with Taken Goblins.
Aaah a kinder-guardian, you underestimate the grind that you will have to do, level 20 or even level 40 are actually irrelevant unfortunately, you will level up quicker as playing the game now levels you up, in year one it didn't.Well for you little light for us the grind was about light level above anything else, for you it's now about the number on the item, grinding them out a few at a time

This morning I decided to start a new Titan having been running a Hunter for a long time. I got it up to level 4 before using the spark to move it to 25.
Then I let him draw the Gally from the vault and much fun is now being had!

From what I've read the quest and story aspect has changed significantly in 2.0. Did you notice this? As a new player I found the story mode quite entertaining but still too much Ghost scanning things while fighting off grunts Then I let him draw the Gally from the vault and much fun is now being had!

They vary in length, and the Taken King strikes also have other mechanics involved other than simply shooting stuff in the face. I've not played WoW, but if it's length and complexity you're after, that's what the Raids are for. Except for maybe Crota, that's a bit on the short side.I've done em all for the week Stimps, but happy to go through today if you're on. Failing that, we'll be raiding Tuesday reset ready for bannering in the evening (assuming a 18:00 start of course).
Saw a Reddit post about skipping a lot of The Taken War to get the 310 artifact. If anyone's got alts who would like to do this give me a shout. Someone who has completed the quest line takes them in to certain strikes and you miss all the Taken Champion stuff apparently. I've got my Titan left, so if someone takes me in to get her done, then I'll swap and take them in on their alt.

Will check how far I am iron my Hunter LC, a 310 artifacton will put him in the realms of 310 with some decent boots, Tuesday raiding should get me 2 chars in the region of readiness for Trials?
Solo'd level 32 Poe for some reason last night, wanted some strange coins and got 1..... Pretty pointless but shows how much stronger our light levels are now.

Hmm, finally got my Agonarch rune charged this morning, but it won't activate the terminal. Apparently, there was an exploit discovered yesterday ythat made the chest infinitely farmable and the general consensus is that Bungie has simply "switched-off" the Charged Agonarch events until they fix it.
Strange, isn't it, that a genuine issue with the game (the old loss of heavy ammo / 4th Horseman getting utterly shafted with incorrect stats in an earlier patch) it takes weeks or even months, but something that gives out easy loots gets attended to within hours?

No probs Paps. I'm in no hurry, just needs to be done by Tuesday.
I think someone said that 10 light is the equivalent to 1 old level, so anything above 280 should be viable for trials (obviously 290+ is ideal). We had a level 29 in the opposing team once, he wasn't so weak that you could OHK him with a sniper body shot.
Bought some rocket launcher ammo boots ready for trials today having checked I didn't already have some. Forgot you could switch the perks when actually inspecting the item.......already had some.
Pro tip: FWC launcher for PvP. I haven't used one since the new dlc, I think they'll be back for trials though.
