I must admit, I had already considered, Speck, that you may be looking at alternatives to ToO over the weekend, and I was going to suggest rounding up Moog and Stimps if they're about and trying to get a raid done whilst everyone else is bhing about lag switching in Trials. Moog, the raid is great, you'd be a fool to call your TTK career over before you've set foot in King's Fall.

This isn't a bad idea at all. What I really want to avoid is logging in on a Sunday and finding that everyone is pre-occupied with Trials and the only way to get in a raid is to hang around indefinitely (a la House of Wolves). I'm just not prepared to go through that cr@p again.

I would like to get a raid going reasonably early tonight at around 6:30 - 7pm. I think some of the usual suspects wanted to raid tonight too so the team might already be full though. My limit is 9:30 ish in the week as I have to be up at 5am.

Managed to drop a 310 supercell this morning (Shane, our friend on the Dreadnought is still being as generous as ever! ), and then got a Boolean Gemini exotic scout rifle from Queenie (no idea what for though, a quest perhaps?)

LC, would be great at some point to go through last night's process again with the Titan and get the tier 3 done for Jamie.

I'm still to do the new raid and should hopefully get a few free hours Friday or Saturday evening. Would love to join in for a run if there's space.

I've been stuck at 293 for a couple of weeks now and it's getting frustrating, I need some raid gear!

I've really been out of things for a while. Mostly been soloing stuff as I've been places with terrible Internet connections and online at unsociable hours due to time differences. Got a day of Iron Banner done yesterday. Still find it really fun, much better than normal Crucible and managed a few good games with a couple of The Best...Around medals, some >25 kill games and some amusing multikills.

I am now "Raid Ready" (tm). I got a 295 ghost shell from IB yesterday and a 294 blue primary which I infused into my Jade Rabbit. I also got a 296 purple tracking launcher and 287 purple sniper rifle. My max light is now 295 but I have various >290 loadouts which gives me some flexibilty. I've not done any of it, read any spoilers or watched any vids so I am a complete King's Fall virgin. I have the quest step where I need three items from Raid bosses to complete now too. If you have space for a carry, pull me in

Does anybody do Nightfalls anymore? I have a quest step to do a Nightfall but I don't see people running them anymore.

I'll try and be more sociable and jump into some parties now!

P.S. Nice gaff Flat-out. You should be buying shares in Sony!

I've not gone near the raid either but my light level is still stuck around the lowly 270 mark and progress seems to have slowed so it's getting to be a bit of a grind again. Admittedly I also haven't been playing it for a few days as I was having too much fun on the Star Wars beta.

Interesting post on Reddit. I'm paraphrasing but in essence, they've nerfed material drops *just* as they've introduced (albeit limited) micro-transactions.

Weren't we discussing this months ago?! Wondering where the long term revenue is?!

After the whole "HOW will contain a raid... actually no it won't" I don't think we can trust what they say about cosmetics only. Surely, there will be "enough demand" to exchange silver for weapon parts?

Slippery slope, I feel. Just like the muppets boycotting the Arsenal game for the first 5 minutes only, we'll continue to lap it up, though.

I'm not going to rule out doing the KF raid at some point, that would be a daft thing to say, but I'm still only around 285 light with a very specific load out and have become a little tired of the grind to get any higher.

There is much more emphasis on having to play with others to get things done too, something that can't always be accommodated when I get online and so most, if not all, of my quests are effectively stalled and have been for a while leaving nothing to really "do" per se which also dampens my enthusiasm somewhat

I well and truly missed the boat of when most people were doing these early quest stages and so now I don't think there is a lot of interest in doing them again. Iron Banner, Trials and of course the Raid being the things now on people's radar. Heck, even the Nightfall isn't worth doing due to the crappy rewards from that (nice, Bungie, nice), although at least they are going to address that one in due course

I'll be around, it's just I won't be on Destiny every single time - Fallout 4 is out next month and for my available gaming time, that is likely to be a better fit than Destiny is for me today

Good fun in the raid last night chaps, despite me consistently jumping onto the same (incorrect) hive ship, having got as far as the penultimate jump with no problems, about 9 times in a row! I genuinely wish I could have stayed for another hour or two to get it finished. As it is, I overslept by an hour and today has not started well as a result! Which is exactly why I wanted an early raid but, I know it can be tricky when we all have different schedules.

Did you guys continue to Oryx? If not, I'm keen to get it finished tonight, and perhaps start raid #2 ?

Moog, whilst I do understand your frustration, we are all willing to help out I'm sure. I have friends who help me out with quests they finished ages ago and I certainly have no problem repeating content I've already done (this is Destiny after all!) Quite often, we just want to shoot stuff in the face

Apologies to everyone in the Raid last night for my tardiness, but for once I'm going to blame the Mrs who realised the chicken enchiladas weren't quite done when they should have been. Another ten minutes later, they were ready but really, really hot, so took longer to eat than anticipated. Once I'd finished mine, I had to wait for the Mrs to finish hers. (Leaving the table whilst she's still eating would be grounds for a slow and painful death!)

So, yeah, sorry again for taking far longer than I said I would.

Speck, I ended up leaving shortly after you. I even did the spiky-dick-thing jumping room, got the chest and made it to the next CP without dying, but it was 11.15 at this point, and I was being summoned by She-who-must-be-obeyed. I tried to get a group together to finish off around half seven, but didn't get much interest.

I am planning to both finish off the Warlock run and run Hunter through fresh tomorrow, and I'd love to take a few who are new to the raid, especially with Hard Mode confirmed for next weekend; Stimps, Moog, Anton, Zombie, what is your availability tomorrow?

I need to finish the sisters and Oryx with the Hunter and a fresh run for either the Titan or Warlock. Would be nice to get that done tonight and leave only one fresh run for Sunday if possible but, my cut off tonight is 10pm. Benny still needs 2 raids and Joe is always happy to help. Mars will quite likely need to raid too.

I should be on shortly after 5pm

A very mixed bag of raiding over the weekend. On Saturday, it took over 3 hours just to get the Deathsingers done!! Due to an inexperienced team and lots & lots of silly mistakes and multiple departures, I began to doubt if we would ever get it done!

Sunday, with a more experienced team, Deathsingers done on the second attempt. Oryx was dealt with pretty swiftly too.

Then a fresh raid where we sailed through to Deathsingers but, then we started fking it up over and over again (and this was not an inexperienced team, although one American fireteam member may have been quite drunk !) It is the jumping mostly that screwed us over which is daft as, in isolation, it is a pretty simple task. Everyone just got annoyed in the end so, we took a break for a couple of hours. Logged back in, and did it straight off the bat and Oryx I think took 2 attempts as someone got killed on a platform.

All 3 characters at 300+ now so, ready(ish) for Hard Mode.

Void sword relic iron farming and void kills done at last!! Might even try to get the arc one ready for arms day tomorrow although, I'm not sure if there is time.

Hopefully, they have fixed the NF rewards this week - I'll be on later to find out
