There's quite a few from on here who do it regularly. Yesterday we were struggling to find a 6th person and the people involved changes a bit so there's often space.

If you add me on PSN (crockostimpy is the username. Blame my nephew for that one) and put in the message that you are from PH then when we do one and you are on I'll invite you in.

There was a unified PistonHeads clan in Year One, but as the number of regulars waxed and waned through the dry spells it fell apart in Year Two. A few of the regulars have their own clans, some have no clan at all. It makes no real difference though; there's no clan lobby or dojo, and no tangible benefit to being in one. Having a few people to play with regularly is far more important than having a clan tag under your name!

As Stimps says, there are a number of us who still play regularly and new blood is always very welcome. My PSN is the same as my username here; SimianWonder - though most people seems to call me either "Oh, for ****'s sake!" or Sims.

I have hopped on to a couple of Pistonheads groups, mainly for strikes as I really dont have time to put hours into a raid (plus I am not good enough either!).

The people I have joined have always been welcoming (Stimps and Moog) and forgiven my tactic of deliberately dying so that they can see where the enemy is........

Feel free to add me (PSN same as here) although I'm not on as much as some of the others and I'm almost always playing the light level catch up game (currently @ 360 on my Titan)

Forge has been good to me recently. Sniper rifle yesterday and the fusion rifle (aka Crucible shotgun rusher killer) dropped this evening complete with some amazing range perks, sweet. Stimps, you seemed busy so didn't bother you as I only had an hour to blow up things

Patch 2.4.1 arrives tomorrow @ 6pm and with it some huge changes to light, artifact and ghost drops. Should make the Raid more accessible to all I'll pass on Hard Mode though ...

As I'm away from home again until Friday, I won't be able to take any advantage of the new light rewards until the weekend! Looks like there is going to be some more grinding to do to catch up with everyone else...

No matter what you do and when you do it, there will always be a grind in Destiny, but you knew that already! Catching up is what becomes of being a true casual

Should be a piece of cake to get to 365 now with blues rewarding up to that level and legendaries now going up to 385. Forge will also be chucking stuff out at up to 385 with ghosts and artifacts up to 400! Heroic strikes reward up to 385 too

And the good news that aside from the Nightfall, the recommended light for all these things isn't changing. NF light goes from 360 to a new recommended level of 380 (Edit: to say that the NF this week is Shield Brothers with solar burn, grounded and juggler - erm, no flippin' way mate even if I was up at 380+)

Bring on the Forge I say - there should be far more players in there now and it's a total blast with 6 or so others in there.

Top Tip: switch on farming mode in Destiny Item Manager (DIM) and let all those engrams flow into your Vault rather than the Postmaster so that you don't lose out on stuff

Getting in a group and running through the Raids are Destiny at its best. You're seriously missing out by not at least trying them out, even the older ones like Vault of Glass or Crota can still be huge fun, even if they're far easier now than they once were and the loot inside is rather out of date.

Ah yes but, my current casualdom is not by choice - in previous expansions I have usually enjoyed being ahead of the curve! Ah well, RoI is pretty much done now anyway....roll on Destiny 2

I'm really in need of a ghost, so I'll be in the Forge later Was the exotic from 3oC usage against a Perfected boss?

I turned in about 10 blues last night and instantly went from 360 to 363, nice. Going to hoard legendaries, any exotics and my two edged factions until I'm at 365 across the board else it's a bit of a waste - really want those blues again!

What is this "ahead of the curve" you speak of, I've never experienced it in two years of Destiny

Exotic was just a random drop.

350 strike drops 2 380 blues.

Interesting - I didn't think exotics dropped "in the wild" any longer since the introduction of 3oC

Anyhow, good old Forge - half a dozen runs, two Shiro bounties completed, a 363 ghost and a helmet dropped. Loads of blues which got me near enough to 365. Decrypted everything, got the faction packages and boom, 367 ghost from Dead Orbit

Yeah, stuff on TV to watch and being sociable I'm afraid .... same tonight, probably going to be the weekend before I get some proper time. Might get on around 10pm tonight. Got a perfected offering ready to go, just need more than 2 in there to have a good chance of success

Had a bunch of legendaries drop today which has shoved me up to a theoretical, but not usable, 367 - getting there I guess

Bloke who was 393 yesterday is now 400 although I've seen a guy on Reddit who is 400 on all three characters, jeez

I've got the Titan and Warlock at 385-386, Hunter just needs a bit of time spent infusing some gear to join them. My aim for the week is to get at least two of them through normal mode WotM, including finally taking down Aksis. I'll save Heroic for another week!
