I've had a couple of the achievements 'pop' a day or so after I met the requirement. And not just Destiny, a few games have been doing this since the update that provided the Snap achievement app IME. Closing the game down and restarting it might help, rather than leaving it run for Instant On.

And I think the Strangers Rifle is a quality weapon if you get it fully upgraded..

The "25 precision kills on Cabal without dying" achievement could well be glitched, as I just did the first mission on Mars there scoring 56 precision kills on those bulky bds. I'll have to keep an eye on it and see if it pops at a later date.

Good games yesterday gents; gutted when my connection dropped on the third strike in the vanguard playlist! I rejoined but it didn't count and will have to do it again.

MP was also good fun when you have some co-ordination.

I got my copy and had about an hour or two on it and then had a week's holiday with the family so no real time to spend on it.

Just sent a request for the clan, don't get online as much as I would like and finding the game a bit 'lonely' so far?

Hopefully get some time over the weekend.

Apologies, didn't see your message until this morning. Should be on over the weekend though.

Has a strange occurrence last night. I was running around the maps for about an hour and I didn't see another player, including the Tower. Jumped into a strike playlist and I was on my own!

Got out of the game and restarted it and it was back to normal. A colleague has experienced the same.

Seems the game doesn't like being run in the background for Instant On IMO.

I get kicked off the Bungie network if I leave it idle for a while and often have no sound as well unless I close it off and restart the game.

Yes, it kicks inactive players to keep the network running fast and smooth.

I got the Cabal, Lucky 7 and Decryptologist achievements when logging in this afternoon. Each clicked in succession, one after the other. I had wanted to get some progress towards the salvage achievements this weekend but it's been taken off the playlists again!

95% of the way through a boss level and got disconnected

I went down into a cavern somewhere on earth and got severely beaten up by some big units that my weapons are immune on, assume this will be something to come back and visit at a later stage when my weapons are bigger/stronger.

Still not finding many people to actually play with, people seem to appear and then vanish never to be seen again, usually just as I get near a boss level.

I noticed the connection thing a bit too.

I know my connection is a bit feeble, circa 3MB\s but its fine to play one, but it seems when I need to respawn, especially in crucible matches, I get punted, then lose my fire-team and cant re-join them. Seems a bit daft.

I do like though that the mission I was stuck on saves you at the start of the no respawn bit, so now I am level 6 and found a better gun and armour I may be able to complete it without all the build up.

Its a good game but by Christ do you die easily if you go up against folks even a level above you. Level 7's and 8's just kerb stomped me at level 5.

this game is so ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.......

the weekly strikes should be matched multiplayer - i ran around for an hour trying to get a 3 man team together at a high enough level to get it done.

Finally landed some legendary glyphs only for them to contain rare items ARGHHHHHHHHHHH.........

I now have 2 exotic bounties i have no hope of getting - complete 5 strikes without dying and 500 crucible kills with void - WTF is void?

Announcement of the next two events. The Queen's Wrath should start tomorrow with new challenges and stuff for PVE modes and rare and legendary gear to boot.

also i got those 5 strikes done without dying - got the last 3 down to 15 mins each with some lvl28's in my fireteam.

picked up a legendary scout rifle - its pretty good.
