Have you updated the firmware on your controllers at all?? Also do you have one of those chat adapters? If so you also have to make sure that's plugged in to each controller when you update the controller firmware or they don't recognise the adapter properly.

This worked a thread.

I've hard reset the xbox and router

then updated the controllers BUT both controllers would not up date with the headset so I think this is the issue. The OE headset so looking for a new one someone said you can get a turtle beach that connects to the controllers so going to try that

And once I did the above the Kinetic is now allowing me to talk on the game so had fun with glen and his mate last night for a hour or 2

I was also looking at the stats on my destiny app and seems I've not done a raid? How to i find a raid?
I can get into the vault of glass but found out I need 5 others and is this worth trying yet. I'm almost on level 26

You'll need a full team of 6 if you plan to do the VOG raid at level 26. Don't expect to do much killing, but I'm sure most of us in here would be willing to lend you a hand.

No probs

If you do get the turtle beachs make sure they come with or you get the stereo chat adapter also.. Then don't forget you will need to update your controllers again with this plugged in

RemaL - make sure you have everyone on your friends list and keep an eye on who pops up when. There are a few people who don't post too much in this thread but play the game quite a bit. (F1Gav, Dalzo, Tom? etc).

There were raids running nearly every night at one point, but I think people have been re-grouping to get to level 31 (plus pushed for time).

Hopefully we can keep organised and get some more going.

Any tips to leavel up. I've been doing strikes and bounties a lot but still seem to be just below level 26 Just.

Yeah i try to get on every night if i can, so add me and if im not up to much can give you a hand. I think the quickest we have completed the normal VOG raid is around 40 minutes so with a full group it wouldn't take to long to get you through there. I still have 2 weekly's to run which i will be doing tonight and still got to start the dlc missions on my other 2 characters. I wouldn't mind giving crota another go tomorrow night if people are up for it.

Strikes and Bounties are good for getting xp as long as you have something to upgrade.

If you have a lot of vanguard/crucible points and a high enough rank then buy their legendary armour. It'll instantly get you to 27-28 and 30-31 when fully upgraded.

Do the daily and a public event every time you are on, will give you a chance of a legendary and if not will provide some useful upgrade materials.

Get someone to take you through the weekly and nightfall if possible but they've (the nightfall especially) been especially difficult since the DLC came out.

Do you have an exotic armour piece yet? If so, what?

I'm going to be about tonight, a bit tomorrow night and through the day on Saturday (the mrs is working!!) but it doesn't look like we're getting enough on to get a raid going at present, especially with the glue that binds (Tank) being away.

Check your vanguard marks to buy some of the new vanguard gear. keep at the strikes and try getting a full set of legendary armour then once you have make sure u complete all the daily bounties and this should upgrade the armour fairy quickly. Also see if one of us can take you through the nightfall early on in the week (preferably tuesday to give you maximum time with bonus xp) this will give you the extra xp to upgrade armour/weapons quicker

As per the above - make sure your vanguard reputation gets to level 2 (bounties are the easiest way to get your reputation up but strikes are more fun) and then you can buy armour. This will get you straight to 28 or 29 or something like that and then a couple of VoG runs will get you enough shards to upgrade those same pieces to 31.

Tom - sorry for the question mark - was typing quickly off the top of my head. Definitely up for a Crota run tomorrow night, and can definitely get on.

found a cheese for crota aswell to get rid of the chalice and no health regen. apparently if you have a warlock and everyone wipes when the timer gets to 2 seconds the warlock revives and gets everyone back up then u no longer need the chalice for your health to revive. Havent tried it yet tho. also looks like you can get passed the bit before crota solo but havent tried this either may give it ago tonight.

As everyone's said buy vanguard armour it'll take you to level 31 , I've only got raids to do this week but add me and I'll help you through the weekly and nightfall.

Ill be doing bounties and upgrading hotp but free to do anything else afterwards.

Before you trade in your bounties buy armour and use bounties to level it up.
Btw have you got a mic? Really helps to have one

I've heard that you can solo all of Crotas End except for Crota himself.

That reminds me; Phil, RemaL, do you have Crotas End? If so then you can get the first chest very easily on your own with a chance for an exotic.

stand in the circle, build the bridge and then when you jump down to the room with the lamps go left (as you're looking at the first lamp). There's a room along that side that a chest appears in.

It's not always there but when it is, there is a light above the door. Go up to it and it opens up.

If it's not there then wipe and respawn and it'll appear sooner or later.
