I doubt I'll get on now before Tuesday but will see.
Someone showed me a lag exploit for crota where the fireteam leader leaves the game just as crota goes down to one knee. It keeps him knelt with no shield permanently and as long as the rest of the team kill the boomers/knights then you can kill him with the first sword drop, two if you're not 31 or are dicking about.
That's proper cheating though I suppose but if you've done it legit once and are just farming I don't really see a problem with it.

Got all the way to crota yesterday, took him down to about 10% health - you guessed it booted with a bee error! FFS so pissed off, fire team fell apart after that....

Something i noticed last night while doing Hard VOG with the guys.. The Smart Loot system doesn't seem to be so clever after all.
Overall from the oracles to the gatekeeper checkpoint i got..

Kabrs Wrath (titan VOG raid chest piece)
Kabrs Greaves (titan VOG raid Boots)
its those two pieces of raid gear that got me thinking. I already had the greaves.. BUT didn't have them equipped, in fact they were in my Vault so i didn't even take them in to the VOG.
To me it seemed that if i had the boots equipped or even in my personal inventory I may have scored something else, maybe a different gun etc..
Next time i run through VOG, im going to take (not equip) my VOG raid armour and see what RNGesus throws at me.

I got the exotic bounty for Thorn (sounds a lot better post buff) and am currently struggling with 500 crucible kills with void damage... the only void weapons I have are Praedyth's revenge and Truth. I could really do with a shotgun or fusion but they are only sold by the crucible quartermaster and I'm not a high enough level yet.
I absolutely detest the crucible and this bounty is a real pain, you lose marks for dying but get nothing for non void kills! I now just play Control, ignore the objective and camp the heavy weapons spawns!
Even so I've dragged myself to 118/500. A quarter of the way there!

I've done some research and Bad Juju is the only primary that does void damage except for a few raid weapons.I complain but it does give me something to do when I'm finished with bounties and have 10 minutes to kill.

My Bad Juju only does kinetic damage, no Burn modifier on it I complain but it does give me something to do when I'm finished with bounties and have 10 minutes to kill.

the fusion one is for the pocket infinity I think, I have it too. Pre DLC it was considered very good but I'm not sure now. Murmur seems to be head and shoulders above every other fusion.I'm basically making no progress on either of them.
I just watched a video of someone soloing Crota (work is really winding down this week). He said he couldn't do it at 31, only 32. He essentially kills the sword bearer, moves the sword to near Crota then drops it, blasts Crota with 3 x Gjallahorn rockets (which puts him down), then picks up the sword and leathers him with it a few times. Rinse and repeat for 10 minutes.
