I still think the VOG is the 2nd best experience I have ever had with a video game(The last of us is best by a country mile).

At least we have 3 Crota CP's to nail it. Wasn't gonna be on tonight but the wife is going out for drinks - shaaaaaating!

So far HM had landed me: -

2 x pulse rifle
1 x assault rifle
1 x scout rifle
1 x hand cannon
1 x sparrow
And glowhoo on all three characters.

I only need the ship and crux then I don't care if I ever complete that encounter again. Normal is good fun, hard isn't by a long way. I never thought I'd say it but if someone finds a reliable cheese, I'll be bringing plenty of crackers and a fine wine. I genuinely don't care, whereas I never contemplated it in the VoG. Atheon has always been done legit.

I'll be back on as normal so hopefully I can jump in if there's space.

Only got the scout rifle so far so hopefully i can get the hand cannon and crux then it's only the first two stages for the pulse and auto rifle.

Do you guys have a fresh raid to do or is it all at crota?

It was tank and myself that stayed on last night to get the resource, I think the remainder still have 2 fresh runs or at least the bridge.

Does the Deathsinger gear only drop in. Hard mode? That armor looks epic. Looking at it though, is raid gear the same level as exotic, cos i really cant see a reason not to wear all the deathsinger gear if you have it? Subject to which perks come with em of course. But light level, defence wise.

Been reading about the potential 3rd subclasses too that people have found digging around on the disc. I like the sound of all of em. I wont re-itterate as im sure its old news but im excited about it.

On another note, wifey has to work in Cyprus 1st week in March so i'm hoping if i sak nicely some of you might help me make the most and spam some raids for some gear :-p

Also goat face the deathsinger drops counts as a chest due to it being the old chest drop in the abyss, stupid idea and bungie have been to lazy to fix it so far

Sorry I dived off last night, but having spent over 20k on heavy ammo for Crota to cheese us again and again sent me into a total rage !! I'm not sure how many hours we've spent on this now.

I will beat Hard Mode even if I only do it the once! I really hope Bungie don't screw us over in the next DLC. Thankfully we have a great bunch of guys and have a good laugh.

Tried the heavy ammo glitch just before the glass walls go down at the start of crota. Worked for me and a mate. May be an easier way, then wasting a lot of heavy ammo aynths.
