And I've never had fatebringer (but three Vex!).

Had a look at a list of all the exotics in the game last night to see what I haven't had and it's as follows;

Fate of all fools (I'd not even heard of this)
Universal Remote
Suros
Ghorn
Red Death
Patience and Time
Necrocasm

Angry and epic are pretty much default. Juggler isn't too much of a pain for those who spam icebreaker (ie, me).
Lightswitch is a pain for titans who are used to just punching things (again, me - for extra shielding), but as long as it's not combined with an elemental burn it's survivable most of the time.

I'm in no way saying it will be fun...
It's the angry, epic shielded psions that will do me in I suspect.

VoG on hard was a bit easier, although I've not done it on hard before and the strats were different so I spent most of the time dead.

I've done crota with level 30's in the team. It's the ability to deal a lot of damage quickly to crotas shield that's the issue to be honest. We've mentioned it before but everyone needs maxed out 331 rocket launchers to hit him hard (especially if you are below level 32), preferably with tracking as you'd be surprised how many miss their target.

Perhaps more runs on normal for everyone to get a hunger of crota launcher.

I actually still think VoG on hard is more of a challenge than crota. Other than crota himself which can defeat you with glitches, I still reckon the vault is a bigger challenge for the duration of the raid.

I don't think this is available yet. I believe some players have it as Bungie has gifted it to them for whatever reason.

Just need Red Death and Necrochasm myself to complete my collection.

Ok, I get the hint I'll buy some heavy weapon synths! I remembered I've got a Truth that I've never used as it takes up an exotic spot that I'd rather have for a primary/secondary. Will start ranking it.

Word of Crota or Fatebringer?

Abyss Defiant or Atheons Epilogue?

I would go with Phils suggestion. Fatebringer first though. It's good for everything in the game.

Aetheons Epilogue for VoG oracles if you intend to keep doing hard mode (unless you have Vision of Confluence)

Abyss Defiant is also useful for Crota's End.

I also have a theory that Xur will be selling something decent this week after everyone spent all their strange coins on heavy ammo synths last week.

I'm certainly doing all three weekly heroics.

Actually try complete CE HM for the first time hah. We had another go late last night, and got down to the last sword, rockets fired too early and wipe.

VoG hard was quite fun though.

I'm quite lucky i still have 160 coins after buying 350 heavy ammo packs (im sure Tank has a stupid amount), the only thing is that the only exotic guns i haven't got are universal remote which i don't really want anyway and necrochasm. Hence the reason for the two week break as reaching my limit of things to do on the game but looking forward to coming back to do some stuff tonight. Its the social side of the game i miss the most when im not playing abn i think this is a big reason alot of people have kept at it. i dont think Xur will ever sell Gjallahorn again well at least i hope he doesnt, i know alot of people want him too but you cant beat the feeling of getting one that you have earned rather than bought

You can't earn it though, it's all pot luck. Tried as I might, I couldn't earn an Icebreaker, I had to buy one.

Had enough of Destiny recently. Bought Sniper Elite 3 for a tenner to keep me amused.

Earned probably isn't the right word but I do agree that you will appreciate Gjallahorn much more if you got it from a random drop rather than purchase it from Xur. It is the games last halo weapon after all (not literally) and needs to be kept as such IMO. I genuinely got just as much of a buzz getting my 3rd as I did my first and I think buying it would decrease it's value.

You just need to do everything to increase your chances of getting it. Assuming you have 3 characters, every week you can do:-

3 x left Gorgon chest
3 x Atheon checkpoint
3 x Deathsinger
3 x Crota
3 x Nightfall

I've seen more Gjallahorns drop on hard than normal too (deathsinger doesn't matter).

Dalzo got one from Crota the following week. You will get one, just need to increase your chances.

Also, dailies and weeklies often give legendary engrams and you never know your luck with those.

Just caught up on all the posts and still shaking my head at C0inslots "oh yeah - I forgot - I got fatebringer!" :-)

Only 3 weapons I want in the game are:-

Gjallahorn
Fatebringer
Word of Crota

in that order.

I don't particularly want that many guns as I have Suros, IB and Thunderlord and to be honest only tend to use IB (although I probably should use Suros in the lamps)

VoC, IB and Hunger of Crota gets me (badly) through most situations, although I should probably switch to Suros and Murmur in the lamps. I'm levelling Abyss defiant to replace VoC (unless going in to VoG).

Assuming some of you stick around for the next few weeks I might try and slowly get myself up to level 32...assuming I get lucky with drops. I really need boots and chest.
