Hi guys, i usually raid with guys from my clan but I'm really missing some good old PH style banter.
I've played with Simo1863 a couple of times but I'm not the most confident of players. At some point in the next couple of weeks I'd love to join you on a normal VOG or Crota run.
I have a lvl 32 hunter and lvl 32 titan and fully maxed jellyhorn to bring to the party. I've done both raids a couple of times but still need an occasional reminder as to what role I should be performing

Sorry to disappoint but I own a freshly renovated 2 bed hovel!

Got my raid boots tonight so I'm a mere 30 shards away from 32!
I quickly tested out universal remote on earth patrol last night. It certainly felt quite powerful. The random crota knights normally take a little while to kill but two shots were taking them out easily...and that's before any perks
I think it could be an awesome weapon in the lamps section. Only problem is the small clip size of 5 and the slow reload time. You have tobget in amongst enemies to rip through them, but make sure there are always 5 or less!

Struggled to do the daily yesterday (The Wakening Level 30), took me 30 attempts to find the right strategy, but at least I'm slowly levelling up my new Spiderman helmet and the Fatebringer.
I'm still learning the hard way about levelling up, for instance, in order to use my exotic helmet I had to stash my exotic gauntlets, but I didn't have any stashed Legendary gauntlets as I shard everything I don't use, so had to use a basic set of gauntlets until I could afford to buy some Legendary ones (that then need levelling).
I've hopefully done enough this weekend for the wife to allow me to spend a few nights playing again.

Finished off my weekly Crota runs last night with Glen and some others, and finally managed to get Red Death. That's the last exotic in the game I was waiting for to complete my collection, only the Necrochasm outstanding but I don't care about it enough to chase it in it's current state.
If we're still on for a flawless attempt tonight I'll be up for that, and I'll be on tomorrow for the usual Tuesday night shenanigans, but going forward I'll probably only be online on Tuesdays and weekends.

I ran out of time at about my 4th attempt I'm afraid.I too quite like universal remote, I think it works well with a defender titan.
However, I'm nut sure it's flexible enough to be a "go to" weapon. Has it's uses but is a bit niche.
This weekend taught me that I shouldn't play pissed at 3am in a perpetual state of awareness..... accidentally sharded a fully upgraded fang!
Still need to finish off Atheon hard with one character tonight if anyone is about.
Loving fatebringer. I've unlocked firefly and explosive rounds and it's amazing. Other than that I've not really had any notable drops other than getting (and fully upgrading) the Helm of Saint 14 from Xurs random engram.

I might be the only one with this opinion but I think explosive rounds is the most overrated perk in the game. Fieldscout or single point sling for me on Fatebringer.Explosive rounds prevent outlaw from activating half the time because the 'splash damage' takes the kill rather than the critical hit.
When you unlock Outlaw experiment with explosive rounds. You'll see they cause more slow reloads even when you think you've killed with a crit.

I'm hoping I can cobble enough time to do some Crota runs (ideally with people here) and slowly build up my number of shards to get to 32...
I wonder if trials of osiris will ever hit.

Not played this one, but enjoyed some of the older games, gotta be worth a punt at £5.99 (it's obviously gone up in price since Innocent posted?)Assume it looks pretty funky on the Xbone as well, they looked pretty good on the 360 so I'd expect a fair improvement.
Not sure I'm quite ready to move away from Destiny yet though, still enjoying it too much to start another game.
