Destiny (Xbox One)

I started a Titan last night in the end, I've got that flashy exotic helmet so thought I should use it rather than shard it.

I don't have time to spend 200 hours getting him to level 31 though, hopefully it will be a lot quicker with a second character.

It doesn't help that I shard everything and only stashed gear away over the last night or two so I'll have to get him to level 20 before I can use the gear that I have stashed.

I've spent around 190 hours so far and have my Titan to level 31 with only a few raid shards needed to get it to 32 and started a Warlock a while ago. Did not take that long to get to level 20 then had some Legendary and Exotic gear I added at level 20 and it took only 2-3 events to get it up to level 29.

Will struggle to be on much this week. Gig tomorrow, usual stuff at the weekend. Looks like level 32 is still a long way away.

That's what I'm hoping, get to level 20 and then start using decent weapons and armour

Sent my xbone away on the 17th of feb and that is me just getting the first email notifying me it's getting sent back there although it means I should be back playing again by the end of the week!

In gonna start a warlock at somepoint. I have boots and the obsidian Mind helm. Will wait till I get one of my guys too 32 first though.

I have noticed you seem to be trying to level up your gear doing ROC/Dailys etc, your time would be spent more wisely doing bounties to level up gear, just make sure you have the gear you want to upgrade equipped before you hand them in!! Some of the bounties you can do in 5 minutes.

That's the trouble, I wanted to get my Hunter up to 32 and level up my Shadow Blade, but then I won't have time to do my Titan :/

I was quite enjoying using a different character last night so will continue with the Titan.

Yes, good point, I'm doing it the slow way, I just find the bounties a little repetitive, but yeah I must speed things up and do bounties to level up.

Pick areas/bounties you can do more then one at once. Also, If there are any get headshots/melee/throwing knife precision kills etc, i'll show you a rather cool little glitch

The easiest way to get to the highest level though is to have three of the same character, more chances of drops you can combine into one set of equipment but that is pretty boring.

I've struck a nice balance of 2 Titans and 1 Warlock but always wonder what a hunter would be like!

I disagree - I had 3 Titans at lvl 29 for ages, getting to 30 the day before it was obsolete. It's all in the hands of RNGesus.

You only have to look at time played, it's over 800 hrs yet I only got my 1st GH last week, it's a con I tell you, a con.

I keep meaning to do some stats to illustrate the problem of low drop rates which then causes extremely high randomness...e.g. not getting VoC after a LOT of raids.

Already at level 8 on the Titan, hopefully get to 14 or so tonight and then a few nights off.

Laza showed me a good glitch area where you can cheese XP, god knows how people find these little cracks in the game engine.

I can't find a Youtube video for it, you'll have to join me or Laza to see it, it's not a quick way of gaining XP, but it's good for certain bounties and levelling items.
