Randomly got the helm last week. Haven't worn it yet...
It's the best defender helm. I'll be getting one for my baby Titan.I've barely been on this week as I'm reviewing an M4 (albeit an Orange one);
then when I do get downtime the wife has grand ideas for me like going for a run.... whoever got a Gjallahorn from going for a run!?
I'll try to escape the inlaws tonight and get on but if not then I'm sure I'll grab an hour or two tomorrow.
Don't know what happened last night. After the quick run through Crota on normal with Remal we were supposed to be doing a hard run but there wasn't enough of us online.
So we decided to 4 man it. Straight forward up to the deathsinger, but we just couldn't get past this checkpoint. For some reason, even with 3 Gjhallahorns we struggled more than I thought we would.
Never mind. I may be on tonight if anyone wants to do some Crota or VoG.

Very nice chief. Do you agree with the slightly disappointing reviews from Evo et al?
I won't put all my thoughts here as its going off topic (and I've only had it for a few days) but it's actually very good. It's very quick compared to the old M3 but is billed more as a GT car than something small and fast. Much like everything in it's category they're only getting less involving to drive yet faster and safer. Of new BMWs I'd probably prefer the M2 when they release it.If I had £60k to spend on a stupidly quick 4 seat coupé I'd go down the C63 507 route (they're still just about taking orders for them and with pretty big discounts). It wouldn't be as fast or nimble but there's nothing like the noise of that 6.2 (F-Type R isn't far off mind).... yeah I love a V8. Beats the sound of a straight 6 being enhanced through the speakers any day.

You and me both chief. Mine is pretty much silent though, and I like it that way. It fulfils lots of roles, but a sports car it's not.
the first time I got hold of the 5.5 biturbo V8 was in an E63S. Step down in many ways from the 6.2 but you can't argue with 585bhp!I work in Fleet procurement for a big retailer as my 9-5 but do a bit of out of hours work for a few friends in the media. I'm by no means a journalist though, just do a few reports and a bit of track/photography driving for them.

No problems, I enjoy helping out where I can.I think the bridge part is the most fun in the raid. On normal its easily doable the proper way and a good test of communication and team work.
My lamp run strategy hasn't failed yet either
