No problems, I enjoy helping out where I can.

I think the bridge part is the most fun in the raid. On normal its easily doable the proper way and a good test of communication and team work.

My lamp run strategy hasn't failed yet either smile
I wasn't sure we'd see you again now you've ticket all the boxes!

the first time I got hold of the 5.5 biturbo V8 was in an E63S. Step down in many ways from the 6.2 but you can't argue with 585bhp!
Unfortunately ours is a dinosaur. No turbos, plain old capacity. We have to make do with 390bhp.

I was very happy as we went for another run after you left and I was one of the more experience one's doing crota (To my surprise) taking a few newbies through and managed it. Loved the bridge bit as me and Scar went over and managed to kill blue Knight, kill the Ogres and a the rest and I did not die on that part once. A first for trying and amazed how well I did. Luck as with me

lets not talk about the lamp strategy and my issues with the holes shall we wink

Ha ha - the holes - I remember lining up with Tank and others the first night TDB dropped...running through the lamps, getting slaughtered left and right....I think we made it to the bridge once then died almost straight away - very annoyed that there was no checkpoint at bridge activation!

but the holes...those glorious holes. So many embarrassing deaths along the way.

I recorded a great one recently but you need to voice chat to appreciate it. A couple of people had gone on in front and we were in a group bringing up the rear, as the bridge activated someone excitedly said "yes I can double jump again!"...and promptly warlock-glided straight into the next hole and died

We had a classic on Tuesday.

The second Crota run of the night, on normal. Fugitive, with his hunter, had set off ahead to activate the bridge and we were following.

Just as we were getting to towards the end, someone said 'we did so well on that last run, we should go for flawless'.

With absolute precision timing it was followed by 'guardian down', and fugitive muttering 'oh FFS'.

Edit - just looked at your gamerscore...are you not tempted to get flawless raider and then polish off those other 2 achievements!? They are "just"grindy ones in the crucible.

I will grind them out as soon as I get flawless. Crucible is the only thing I havent done much of, and where the remainder of the grimoire score is.

Anyone fancy taking my Titan through crota Monday evening?

Been trying to solo it and manage about 10 lamps. I can solo it with my hunter now :-) x

Found an hour today.

Weekly strike. Not a lot of fun, but done.
Then decided to roll some Roc strikes for the bad juju bounty.
1st strike, sepiks again.
Second strike, sepiks.
3rd strike, guess who?

Ha ha! I had exactly the same happen to me, but with three back to back strikes doing the Mars mission with the land tank.

I helped a random group through crota hard yesterday and as I was leaving they said they had the gorgon chest cp if I wanted it. Nearly didn't join them as I needed to get off but hopped in. Jumped back to the chest and it dropped gjallahorn!!

The daily is eye of the gatelord today. I always find this one ok, and indeed solo'd it at 30. Even with my lack of skill.

Then did the summoning pits with some randoms @26. I recall that being an absolute swine first time I tried it.

Well had a crack at hard Crota over the weekend without success.

I'm the only level 31 so need to get the fecking Raid shards to level up. Working as hard as I can to get Eris morn level 4. Almost there and hope it's worth it

the US based swordbearer was very good but I always find games across the Atlantic will struggle. In hindsight we should have made him host.

Still think I'm the luckiest person in the world after that drop on Saturday. Should get it fully upgraded in a day or two.
