I need to get crota on hard cracked with my titan, and a run up to crota with my warlock if any one is up for it tonight.
I'll happily run sword for one run. Glen, are you on tonight?
Not that I need anything but I wouldn't mind a storage of materials, just in case they are needed for the next DLC.

I'll only be on late and probably just for a few bounties. Shame really, this has probably been my quietest week for some time. Aside from the one chest I haven't touched VOG on any characters and have only completed one Crota hard.
I'm off tomorrow though and will be free in the day for the nightfall. Does Phil have a premonition again this week?
Also, I've now fully upgraded my Warlock, is it just me or is Voidwalker miles better of the two subclasses? The only thing Sunsinger has going for it is res. Yes it's useful and has saved me from restarting a nightfall a few times but you're sacrificing the fun of using supers all the time for that ability.

How have you not got a storage of materials already?I've got 60 radiant shards and 60 radiant energy and I feel positively flush!

k over anyone who grinded the last lot just like with the CE 'expansion'.It has been a quiet week. I've purposely stayed away, trying to stick to a couple of times a week (Tuesday and Thursday seem the most popular nights, and sometimes Sunday), though I'm not on tomorrow.
We demonstrated this last week on normal crota. Both Tom and myself were at the bottom of the left staircase firing up our sunsingers to create orbs for the sword carrier. The floor was carpeted in them in no time.

I prefer voidwalker but sunsinger is also good. It's easy to hold onto self res and use it as a crutch but try using song of flame instead. Use the super like you would with any other, and combined with heart of the praxic fire you are literally a walking orb machine. We demonstrated this last week on normal crota. I've had the heart of praxic fire for a few months but only ever had an exotic helm for my warlock so didn't get a chance to use it.
I've just looked up some of the stats on it though, as well as orb production it reduces fireteam grenade/special melee cooldown during radiance by 90% (but they need to be within 8 meters) and you yourself can get up to 12 grenades off during radiance.
I'm going to get a legendary vanguard helm and pray for a nice Crota drop tomorrow.

for those chasing shards/energy make sure you do the start of CE every week (on all characters). First on normal, get the first chest and then load up hard and get it again.
Guaranteed 4 per character and only takes a few minutes, granted the chest isn't always in one of the first two doorways but I've never had to wipe more than a couple of times.
