Have now finished the story missions, so now I need to spend more time in the crucible and gear up for potential raiding.
Might be on tonight. Might be attempting to lay down the law in the crucible. Suspect it may not go well for me...
Crucible plays very different for me. I've found going full auto, aiming for the head to be the best bet. Single shot weapons I've struggled with.Might be on tonight. Might be attempting to lay down the law in the crucible. Suspect it may not go well for me...
People seem to neglect the heavy ammo but if you can get it with the heavy MG then it's pretty good.

Yup, full auto rules the crucible. I find it so frustrating as I'm more a single shot player with a scout or hand cannon. Even when I'm landing head shots I still lose on a one to one. Wish I could swap shards for energy, I've got 90 of them going spare. What do you reckon they'll fetch on eBay
Was also going to add that there are suggestions that the legendary emblems that you buy from the speaker have hidden perks.
Before I found out about this I had been using the 'blessing of the knight' emblem for a few days and I had noticed a significant drop rate for heavy ammo as well as legendary engrams.
I know some of you have experienced similar, so it might be worth investing a few motes if you're struggling to upgrade quick enough (have to be level 20 to use them though as they are legendary)
No official acknowledgment from Bungie and I doubt there will be, if it's true they'll let the community work out for themselves as to which emblem does what.

Tankslappa - I'm not sure that those bond effects are confirmed or debunked. There was a list on reddit a couple of weeks ago but then a few threads saying it had been tested and wasn't true.
With low drop rates for items, you need quite a big sample before you can work out the statistics and see if there has been a significant change.
EDIT - this was how it ended - unofficial denial by Bungie devs

I'm now at 23 and have consigned myself to working at getting the Vanguard rank up through bounties and strike playlists to get my rep up..... I've been playing it here are there for days and I'm about two thirds from getting the first rank!!
I do get the odd drop with a marginally better light level though but no big jumps.

Earn Vanguard rep, marks and upgrade materials all in one, I've tried it and it works
I thought of another mistake Bungie made, they wanted an MMO, well MMOFPS, they have a starter area, they have classes and races, but they missed the trick, I don't want to play through the whole game again to level up a new class because it's just the same thing all over. But in WoW or LotrO or DDO or any number of other MMOs, if you choose a different RACE, you get a different starter area, a different plot, a different set of people, you know, VARIETY, come on Bungie, you're doing a half-assed job at this.

I'll be on tonight. Request has been accepted too.
Such a shame we couldn't crack the last boss last night. We had such a good run to get to that point too.
Oh, and who says I get all the good luck....

Disappointed with Xur this week - I want to keep Ice breaker so not that tempted by Suros Regime....but then it is meant to be a good gun (right now).
Ironically I want sunbreaker gauntlets but they haven't come back since I got enough strange coins to buy them!
Edit
Dalzo - I won't be able to play until tonight
Simo - hello! 23 may be a bit low for the raid but I think a few people here are online quite a bit and teaming up for strikes etc is always fun
