Good run on Scrota normal last night, I thought Johnny Vegas (Morphies) did really well on the sword, first ever attempt as a Titan and smashed him with sterling advice from Simo.
I saw something purple flash up at the end of Crota but didn't catch what it was, I thought oh I hope it's something nice, it was a fecking ship...
I'm out tonight so back on tomorrow night

Messing around with it at work I like it a lot more than the companion. Allows you to move un-equipped items directly between characters. If it works on the iPad its a game changer for me. Someone please try, the suspense at work is killng me.
Hi, refugee from the PS4 thread here I like the look of this loadout manager - seems much easier to see what you've got without too much messing about!https://www.youtube.com/all_comments?v=h3Ax8Fgj0bg

Oh, and a quick doff of the cap to Congratulate you on your flawless raid - I think our chaps managed it last weekend too (sadly, I had nipped off for some food as it wasn't a planned attempt so, missed out!) Great team effort by the sounds of it, well done

I know most of you have an offline life on Saturday nights, but if anyone is on late and still has the Nightfall to do I could use a hand. Might be on with my lvl 16 Titan, but drop me a message and I'll switch to my Warlock (lvl 31). Also game for a fun (not flawless!) raid.
Drop me a message if im on and I will help you mateIrrotational said:
Does destiny use central servers to host each instance? So its only lag from each player to destiny server? Or is it player to player lag too?
I think titanfall had the right idea with explicit geographic servers to help minimise this (although it does split the player base)
yep, all servers based in California, I think you get the most problems when you split the team across the globe - i.e. 2 x American, 4 x Brits - Although the data travels at the speed of light it reaches them first and starts to return before it even hits us.I think titanfall had the right idea with explicit geographic servers to help minimise this (although it does split the player base)
I have found that the servers themselves tend to be a bit temperamental, hence the return to orbit and go back in on a fresh server.

When we here on Crota and it was glitching all the players where from the UK. But still playing up like mad. I think titanfall had the right idea with explicit geographic servers to help minimise this (although it does split the player base)
Hoping to finish Hard this week as we have the end saved
with my 2 x Titan and 1 x Warlock setup, by Friday I'd done 3 Crota Normals, 2 Crota Hards, 2 VOG normals and one VOG hard.
I was getting bored so deleted one Titan and started a Hunter (I had one set of legendary gloves and bought the Mask of the third man from Xur).
Currently at 28, all campaigns finished and all bounties from the last three days done, I managed to do the mid difficulty weekly but not the nightfall (and am away tonight so won't get to do this weeks). I should crack level 2 vanguard tomorrow and propel her up to 31 after a few bounties.
Focused entirely on bladedancer and am pretty eager to learn to sword bear with her in mind of doing HM once I get to 32.
I have also accumulated 33 strange coins from the weekly this week on four different characters!

So, I bought this at launch - played (and very much enjoyed it) for a few days but then managed to find myself not picking it up again due to a variety of reasons.
At the weekend I had an hour spare and thought I'd revisit and once again enjoyed it with much of the design and gameplay appealing to me and my historic gaming. However, bearing in mind that 6 months or so have passed since launch I'm wondering if its worth investing any significant time in the game as "everyone" else has been levelling up etc and I'm left behind.
I have been reading pages on this thread and a lot of it is foreign right now - any of you regular players fancy giving me some encouraging words / advice? Should I jump in?

Simple but yes jump in.
I've just started my Hunter and are on level 3. OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWw
OK it's my 3rd character but if you play with others online the game just comes into it's own.
Play it. Enjoy it with mates. best game for me by miles that just keeps me coming back for more
