Had a run through Crota normal. Got another light of the abyss. Amazing how easy normal is now. once you get a few who know what they are doing and a sword barer who knows what they are doing.
need to do Nightfall with all my characters. Had a stab at it last night, almost did it and died at the end and needed to go off after.
So will be around tonight to get this done
As for what I have guns and gear wise I have a lot but need to get crota hard done and VOG a little more.

I now have 2 x Ghorns, 2 x Hungers, 3 x Swordbreakers and 3 x Black Hammers. I don't have a patience and time and you've doubled up on a few I have one of (fatebringer and VoC). Do you have a Praetorian Foil?
Bit random that you have a thunderlord for each character, aren't they too one of the rarest in the game? I've had two and sharded one.
I've also started sharding Legendarys that have become a bit obsolete with the DLC, not the VoG weapons but things like the badger CCL, Another NITC etc.
You do have loads more ships, shaders and exotic armour than me.
Is all of your gear upgraded?
I'm much more pragmatic, if I'm not going to use it then it's gone.... which I did with a few shotguns before the buff and regretted it!

Ah - that's my problem then.Will try to be on tonight - probably closer to 9 though.
The teaser video says not - it shows a mysterious new bubble over on the left hand side near the weapon damage type/burn type. It's only one bubble too and does a yellowish shimmer/animation when it is completed/selected.
I think tonight is a walk around the reef and an explanation of the upgrade paths so we should know for sure.
Did anyone keep their VoG gear? It can be upgraded too (again according to very brief teaser video) in which case people who skipped TDB expansion pack still have an upgrade path in the HoW expansion pack.
So far they have ONLY shown raid gear and guns getting upgraded...so don't expect normal vendor armour or guns to be upgradeable..
A bigger question for PvPers is what happens to iron banner gear.
EDIT - I'm sure the upgrade material will be time and grind-gated behind a new bounty/vendor person (like Eris) and I bet you can only get one upgrade item per week...
