I've got a lot of weapon parts and sapphire wire too. Back in the day, when we had to actually farm for our materials, we did a lot of patrolling, finding chests etc. That was where the majority come from.

I remember, I only had one character at the time though! You used to be able to sell them didn't you? Reminds me of this post off of reddit (about the great heavy ammo drought of 15);
The weekly loot harvesting from Crota, lessened to one character instead of three, all we could afford in those days. Week after week, praying for it to rain heavy, but our prayers were unanswered. The drought pervaded nearly all aspects of the game. Instead of joyously frolicking in the vault of glass, guardians were forced to support their Crota farming by other means, and had to move west to find new jobs. Usually as far west as Mars (yes I know Mars isn't "west", but deal with it), guardians flocked to support themselves and their families/fireteams by repeatedly shooting the same Cabal over and over in the Exclusion Zone. But we learned from the drought. We emerged stronger than before, always preparing for times ahead. When the drought ended, guardians swore to never again be left so helpless, with their Gjallarhorns growing dusty in their inventory, crying for use.

I have far, far too many and they'll never all get used. The problem is you cant delete them, you have to actually use them to free up the space.
Unless you delete a character............

I had one once and used it just to get rid!
I've 19 special synths and never used one.
At the time we didn't know it was a bug and xur was supposed to sell them every week (I'm sure I read that the urn quest in TDB caused it). For me each character has about 100 and I'm now on about 80 in reserve.

I've got two 31's (Hunter & Warlock) and a 26 Titan I'm working on
To be honest I have minimal experience raiding
I've done VOG a few times and I've been carried through Crota (not really knowing what I was doing). Basically I'm just looking for a solid group to play with and teach me the ropes, have a laugh and get good gear
Using LFG is abit hit and miss!

We should find that and dig it out.
We have a mix - some people are on most nights and some of us only get on 1-2 nights a week. Raids to date have been fairly spontaneous, depending who is on. We're testing out the 100 site to see if that helps for people who know when they will be on, but aren't on that much.
I think in terms of exotics and play time, Tank, Simo and Glenard are the top 3!?
My GT is the same as here, but I don't get on to play that often. Hoping to play one night over the weekend.
