Did anyone have a go at 34 PoE last night?
I did all nightfalls, 2 x weeklys and 2 x 32 PoEs (did one with an LFG group that included a woman! Playing Destiny! I couldn't believe it! They'll be voting next...).
Are you guys doing late night Crota runs for anything in particular or just for the fun of a quick six man raid?

I'm still trying to get my 2 extra chars up to 27-28 so I can run higher level raids, Poe etc.I did all nightfalls, 2 x weeklys and 2 x 32 PoEs (did one with an LFG group that included a woman! Playing Destiny! I couldn't believe it! They'll be voting next...).

I saw a raid happening and joined in.
I need to take a week off work and get some hours in to destiny

I've done all my level 32 POE and nightfalls now. I can do the weeklies anytime but I'm looking at Friday night level 34 runs if you fancy it Simo. Wife is away so will be on until the wee hours. We're at a wedding tomorrow (on a Thursday... we know some cheap people) and have booked Friday off in anticipation of hangover so I will probably be around at some point.
Mrs S is working Sunday so will cane it then too.
Hunter and Titan are both 34 now and if I spent my last bit of Etheric Light on my Warlock I could do the same with him but I'm hesitant to do so.
Not sure what to spend it on though, nearly went for black hammer but then thought swordbreaker might be better for the 34 Boss this week. Then thought Praedyth's revenge for ToO perhaps.

te. I just read that Lord Saladin will be selling etheric light during the next IB at levels 3 and 5.
I had assumed it would be given as a reward. There is speculation as to how this will be delivered. Only one purchasable at lvl 3 and then another at lvl 5 being the most popular idea but there's also a suggestion that you can buy multiples but they'd be expensive (say 10k glimmer) but cheaper at rank 5.

Yes, pretty much a cake walk up to the last boss. We downed him once using the tried and tested Gjallahorn face melt. Couldn't get it to work a second time. We could do it normally I reckon with a bit of patience. It just takes time, we tried to rush it. You need to spend more time clearing out major hobgoblins than time hitting the boss unfortunately. Its a bit of an endurance test.
Wuddie, had a quite a few treasure keys from the small chests running lvl28 PoE multiple times.

I have had 2 treasure keys from the smaller chests. Gave lvl 34 PoE a go last night everything was fine till the last boss the mechanics of it are stupid so makes it difficult to complete. I wont go into it too much tho don't want to spoil the surprise

I doff my cap to Mr studel. We managed the nightfall as a pair and it actually felt pretty ok most of the time. Probably the pairs of heavily shielded captains gave us the most trouble at the start.
Couldn't have done it on my own! Fortunately we have similar hide-in-the-corner playing styles

I got one treasure key out of 6 chest openings but I think that was very lucky RNG. (As there are two chests per run).
I think I'd rather run multiple versions of PoE 28 than farm chests but it depends who's on and what they're doing.
I'd like to take a crack at 34 over the weekend if I get chance...
I've got a "spare" armour core at the moment so my choice is to spend that on my hunter and get it to level 31 maybe 32 or save it towards another judgement roll. I guess as weapon cores only drop in tandem with armour cores I'll always have one spare so j should just spend it.
Note that both of the level 34 armours have been strength only...some cynicism that bungie is doing it deliberately so players will keep grinding and take judgement roles to get to 34 with something other than strength on their armour!
It feels like getting all 3 chars to 34, and upgrading some of my old favourite weapons is doable over the next few weeks (with help from here to get 34's done) and I'll keep doing nightfalls and weeklies to stockpile drops and coins.
Then I might *shock*! Park it for a bit....or get sucked into trying to get to mercury on ToO! Lol!
Edited to say - I watched datto do the 34 fight and skolas last night. The 34 looked interesting and forced a bit of coordination so they made it look fun.it looked do-able with half decent players (which I am not!)

If it works, it works. Happy to run a 28 PoE with you as a warm up, and then try to find another for a 32. I can't tell you when however...Now I need to look at this PoE malarkey...
