Got carried through a crota HM last night, as it was solod with ease, Crota dead in one sword, and dropped with a single golden gun shot.....

Even for my standards I had a lucrative session last night 
Ran my last lvl 32 PoE and used the armour core to buy a Judgments Chance. Got the hunter helm with all discipline and cabal arbiter perk (goes well with the chest piece I had last week with all intellect and Vex Rampart perk)
Did the lvl 34 with my titan and got my first Elder Cipher exotic weapon bounty. Used it at Variks for the Lord of Wolves shotgun.
Did another lvl 34 with my warlock and got another Elder Cipher. Used for the Queensbreaker Bow fusion rifle.
Helped Goatface with a lvl 32 with my titan. Opened the chest to get the Queens Cipher, next step of the exotic bounty.
Helped Innocent with a lvl 34 with my warlock. Again, got the Queens Cipher.
Now just waiting to be summoned for the next step of the bounties. IMO, if you have treasure keys, unless you really, really want a Queens Wrath weapon I would suggest keeping them until you get one of the bounties to drop. You need to open the chest on lvl32 or above for the Queens Cipher. I think I got lucky last night, I don't believe it's guaranteed.
Teamed up with Glen and Innocent to take on lvl35. We sailed through it to Skolas but that last round is absolute nails. We got his health down to half but beyond that just staying alive is a joke. Nearly everything is doing arc damage. Need a better strategy.......

Datto and his buddies did it legit. Can't see a video online. They were left side high up on a ramp.
They had two guys on Skolas and Datto clearing adds. The adds mainly seemed to spawn behind them through a door (shanks) and then either captains leapt up via the side of the ramp or smaller adds walked up the ramp.
A couple of times they were down to one person and JUST got the other two back up so that they could transfer the poison. They cleared the mines in pairs, transferring the poison part way through
They made it look doable...but I think any video with very good players, where they succeed, makes it look easier than it really is...
I might get on late tonight - if so I'll be desperate for =a couple of people to run 34 PoE. Have a good idea of strategy for the final boss...no idea if I'm good enough to execute it!

Never thought I'd be saying this, as it's possible the weapon I've sharded the most playing Destiny, but I ascended my Found Verdict to 365 damage last night. And it's bloody awesome!
Skolas round 4, it was taking out level 35 red bar captains with one shot. Three shots for yellow bar majors.
Glenda was so impressed he ascended his FV. The target to be eliminated was destroyed quicker than Crota's ogre

I've put in a request to join the Pistonheads X1 clan under my gt EECCTimH. I'd like to find some regular players to run through PoE and at some point ToO with. I have simo1863 and RoyalPurplehead in my list so far but play times don't always overlap. Most of my online time for non-bailing-out events is at the weekend so week nights are mainly farming activities and weekly reset stuff. I'm running three titans at level 34 with most of the useful weapons (Fatebringer, Gally, Vex, Icebreaker) maxed out.

It's typical that a terrible raid shotgun (that I've sharded about four of) turns out to be decent. I still have an Arc Hide and Seek and a Two to the Morgue but not sure I'm brave enough to 'etheric' one of those. I do have an Arc LDR but not sure it'll be good enough for 35.
I've found Word of Crota to be really good for taking on Vex in PoE so might upgrade that.
I've now done the 34 PoE on all characters but haven't had a crack at Skolas. I've heard of people using Thunderlord, two people laying into him while a blade dancer does the objectives. Not sure how they get around the devouring, maybe by the first countdown they've downed him.
Two of my runs at Qodron involved epic warlock clutches which were entertaining. Especially the one from a US stoner (who had been terrible all game) choosing the right time to step up!
Off out tonight but will be on tomorrow for a bit.
