I got all weeklies done on all chars late last night. If I get on tonight I'll see if anyone needs any help with anything, if not I might hit LFG for PoE 32's and 34's

I'm moving out on Friday so have been pretty busy all weekend.

Had a crack at trials on Friday and went 3-6 with two from lfg. As well as the lag and cheating people seem to be getting better at it (the best I've done is a 7-2 in the first week).

Will try to get on this week but I'm going to be pretty busy up to Friday and then am moving from a 37 MB/s connection to about a 2 MB/s

LOL YEAH I KNOW, was so pissed off at the other night cause I know I'm not that st at pvp, I been playing since the doom days so there's some skill in those muscles somewhere !!

Anyway you don't necessarily need to be that good at pvp, there's 3 key things a good team needs

1 communication, always calling out radar spots, if you see anyone flanking, if you die, calling out where the enemy are/ going, how much health a enemy has left if you managed to hit them but not kill them.

2 map knowledge!! Being able to spot where the enemy are and call it out by Just recognising the radar ping is valuable

3 sticking together and moving/ shooting together.. I saw a team I played against move as a solid unit, 1 checking front the other two flanking with cover, once up to a good spot 2 of them would then appear from around a corner and start shooting , 2 guys shooting at ya is impossible to defend against!!

4 as a bonus, someone with a lag switch

Only did one passage yesterday and went 3/3.

Definitely got better at PvP in the last month I've bothered to play it. K/D is hovering around 1.2 at the moment, it has been up to 1.5 but Trials is giving it a hammering.

Its quite strange reading about players with K/D below 1.0 going flawless, I can only presume they are very lucky with their draw each round or are getting carried by much better players.

This was quite interesting and might give you a chuckle. Got dumped into a game that was already well under way yesterday, it was lagging quite badly and then this happened.

I'd guess they melee'd you as you jumped? Sometimes the physics gets a bit weird and sends you hurtling across the map - I've had it with shield cabal when they melee as I'm jumping.

You're absolutely fine whilst going through the air but die instantly on impact.

1.0 players can definitely be carried if the other two are exceptional.... that's my plan :-)

Coinciding with the move I'm probably going to give up Destiny for a bit. I've done pretty much everything you can in the game (aside from Trials) and any lag related problems are about to get a whole lot worse for me.

I'm going to invest in some games with a longer term single player element and pray that an exchange is opened near the new place before the Xbone World of Tanks is released at the end of July.

Now there is a game that knows how to make you grind for little reward!

The reaction is a bit OTT and the vocal internet blow things out of proportion as usual, but I do feel that Bungie are out of touch with their loyal fanbase here.

Players have invested a huge amount of time into this game (myself included) because we enjoy the social aspects of the game just as much as the shooty stuff. The items exclusive to the collectors edition are quite trivial in reality but I think we've become so attached to our 'guardians' over time that we feel quite passionately about them not being able to 'bust the latest dance moves' without buying all of the content that we already own.

I have read one comment that suggests that this could be a calculated move by Activision, as they know full well that the vast majority of the collectors editions will be sold to people who already own the game, and no doubt they will be reporting that the number of units sold has increased, but not necessarily increased the player base.

Deej's response could have been better worded but we'll have to wait and see what the weekly update says.

Or to bury bad press, Xur will probably sell Gjallhorn on Friday. Then the internet will actually implode.

Or you pay £20 more for the old DLC (that you already have) but get some new dance moves.

It's a total overreaction but some of the comments from Smith are ridiculous and highlight how we've not had value for money since day 1 (yeah I know it's decent if you look at cost per hour played but we've been short changed and not had what was originally shared about the game since the early reveals) but they don't care one bit.

They'll probably release a statement tomorrow blaming last gen consoles.

To be slightly pedantic, that isn't the problem. If they were selling a special edition of the new DLC then there wouldn't be any issue at all, everyone would be happy.

The only way to get the exclusive items is to buy the collectors edition. This includes the base game, The Dark Below DLC, the House of Wolves DLC as well as the new Taken King DLC. Basically stuff we have already bought.

But don't many other games do this in the past. People buy a game and DLC, then a few months or a year later they give extras out to new people to entice them to buy the game for the first time

Well I really am struggling to get on Destiny at the moment, I just can't bring myself to do it.

I was completely addicted to this game and absolutely loved the social aspects, this last update just didn't do it for me, I guess that's due to lack of a raid. I have also found myself not getting exited about the new release either.

Trouble is its getting more and more difficult to see past Bungie/Activisions money grabbing and constant exclusitivity to PS4. This is a great game which is groundbreaking in so many areas, however Bungie seems to have lost touch with its fan base and Activision just want me to part with my money for very little content.

I'm really looking forward to the Division now, in the meantime I'm finding Witcher to be a fantastic game, never played the previous ones either. There is so much content and storyline included in this game it's incredible and laughable when compared to Destiny.

It was a mistake by Microsoft. They increased the price to £40 inline with the Playstation Store not long after you, myself and some others had already pre-ordered it.

I feel that this DLC has made a lot of players move onto other games, and it has to be down to the lack of 6 player content. PoE is a very poor substitute and I think ToO is going to have a very short shelf life.

I have spent more time in the crucible lately (and enjoying it surprisingly) because it's the only part of the game I haven't really touched, and it's content that doesn't rely on having a full list of friends online.

I've got Batman already downloaded and ready to go so I may spend some time going through that, but still looking forward to the Taken King based on the stuff shown so far.

Its pretty stty but people don't HAVE to get the emotes if they don't want to.

I agree there should be a kerfuffle about it though and hopefully there will be some nice stuff for long term players.

27 versus 40

Crap! Had totally missed that ms had the wrong price! I'll buy it on the us store so I should be able to get it for around that. Buy MS US codes on sites like playasia and then change your location on the box to the us and redeem the code and buy the game. You can also do it with HKD with a bonus that the content unlocks earlier than the uk.

(Disclaimer: I think this still works! I need to double check!)

Social stuff
I'm getting close to having all the bits I can realistically want (I'm not going to run lots of templar to get fate bringer) but im going to keep going a bit longer and stock pile stuff.

Id like better perks on my armour at 34 (e.g. heavy ammo on each chars boots) but that's about it. Another 4 or 5 etheric light and I'll be there.
