Tend to agree. Good game with friends, repetitive and hard in places on your own. The multiplayer in the crucible isn't cutting it either.Does it get good? Am I some how missing the enjoyability?

It's a good game but certain bits are a pain, mission today was with ghost and looking for sensor towers, then to go to an old warehouse with a thing ghost has to hack, this us in a bit where if you die you go right back to start of section, it was a defend type situation and there was wave after wave of stuff, I was running out of ammo and when I thought it was done, more new type of enemies appeared and I almost died but was okay but if you died at the end there you'd wouldn't want to be doing it again. Apparently this is par for the course reading reviews :-( that could get old really quick.
I play mostly solo but am off this week so I have a few of you on my tag list so if you see me ask to join in. I can see it getting very repetitive for solo play, which it wasn't sold as, story also seems very vague and again it seems like a multi player game that they slapped on a single player story. Star Wars the old republic died because of a similar situ, hyped to the max but was a basic game when delivered.
Will keep at it as higher levels are supposed to be better but I can't see how if it's more of the same just harder swarms of bullet sponges.

I think their hardness meter is off. If there are three of you on a mission then you're OK playing one the same level as you. If you do it on your own it will be a hard slog.
I'm level 15 now and went back to do a level 8 story mission solo. It was much more fun
It felt a lot more like Halo where you could pop grunts at will, headshot the normal soldiers and then have a mini battle against the boss at the end.
I'd say if you're pretty good at FPS then you'll have a painful but ultimately rewarding experience solo'ing missions the same level as you...but you will die a bit. If you're just good or normal then aim to be 1 or 2 levels above what it says.
The game is much better as co op as you don't notice the emptiness quite so much....so much so I wonder if they should have made it co op only!

Having fun playing this on my own but with 1 or 2 mates it's great fun. just struggling to get the time to play it though. on Level 13 and found the weekend black market guys selling nice new toys but I needed to be on level 20 to get them. Still enjoying learning what I need to get to level up and get rare coins etc...

Hopefully this will make it easier to put together fireteams for raids/strikes/pvp etc.
