Well it was a hard slog that didn't finish till 3am but I made it to rank 5 on iron banner!!!
Would have been a lot earlier had a realised the buff had ran out at midnight

Had a lot of weapon drops tho which I'll need to sort out, bought the in heavy machine gun and the pulse rifle too

Found a new love for pulse rifles. Started to get the hang of Red Death in IB over the weekend, and I got a Spare Change .25 as one of the drops.

Higher impact than Red Death and about twice the range. Perks were headseeker, braced frame and outlaw. The thing is like a laser. Braced frame drops the ammo from 8 bursts to 6, but the stability is nearly maxed. Awesome weapon.

Tank - apparently pulse rifles are second to hand cannons... Last one I used was my oversoul but I never really liked them...feels like they're rattling away all the time. Do they have any real impact?

I really want to break out one of my ill will's just to see what the impact (and reload speed) are really like

Yes, that Spare Change has very high impact for a pulse rifle. Much higher than Oversoul Edict or Timepiece, it's in the same class as The Messenger ToO pulse rifle. It's the range that's impressive too. Low stability as standard so needs a perk to counteract.

I have an Ill Will with Sureshot IS, Zen Moment, braced frame (increased stability/reduced mag size) and spray & play. Not quite levelled it all the way yet but I reckon that's the best perks you could want on it. It has huge range from stock too. Should be fun.

OK I think I have one of those spare changes...will check and see.

On that topic - neogaf seems to favour the hopscotch pilgrim. It only drops from 28 dragon strikes and 28 PoE but I think they were saying its a really high impact pulse rifle....higher than spare change etc. Double check anyway!

As you can get full auto on scouts and pulse rifles I'm not really sure why AR's exist anyway.

EDIT - forgot to say I've signed up for the crota run at 10 as wellwell!

Double edit...I notice variks is trolling warlocks again with all strength boots.

Anyone know what the perks are on the boots? Need heavy ammo perk for my hunter and titan....having standard amounts is pants!
