If that's your first Elder Cipher then I would seriously consider the Lord of Wolves shotgun. It's wrecks everything and is very helpful if you are in a team. The bow is nice, but its a bit of a novelty. The Dreg's Promise is utter crap and you should only want it if you want to collect all exotics.Yeah I got the bow - wish I'd got the shotgun now. I did enjoy shooting vandals with their own gun though!

Yeah I think the 1000 points is that last step, I'm also fairly sure that you get to actually choose which gun when you hand in the completed cipher so shotgun is still on the cardswuddie said:

Yep - you definitely get to choose again when you go back to Variks after the thousand point grind.Haven't done any PoE for a couple of weeks and weirdly miss it! :-)
Anyone up for a VoG hard run using white armour and guns from TTK? :-) Would feel odd...

Any exotic bounties you have between now and NEXT Tuesday will be handed into the respective vendor and auto-completed. So anyone wanting the Thorn/Bad Juju/Invective may want to pick those up. Thorn is not a year 2 weapon for now...but Bad Juju and Invective are year 2 weapons.
PoE Exotics - Will no longer drop as a cipher from next tuesday. Instead they have a chance to drop on the Queens chest at the end (no idea if all levels)
Any exotic bounties you have between now and NEXT Tuesday will be handed into the respective vendor and auto-completed. So anyone wanting the Thorn/Bad Juju/Invective may want to pick those up. Thorn is not a year 2 weapon for now...but Bad Juju and Invective are year 2 weapons.

A LOT of the TTK changes are going through on the 8th...essentially the only things missing are the new content (i.e. the dreadnought, the new weapons/armour and the level cap changing to 40)
So quests, collection machines, weapon balance, will all change on Tuesday...this is the last solar burn Gjallarhorn week ever - so make the most of it!
Note:
1. Any uncompleted bounties will get deleted so if you have any partial ones then finish them off or lose them
2. Exotic bounties are getting autocompleted for "free" exotics/shards!
3. Bounty slots are changing to 16 so if you want to stack more, ahead of TTK then you can
4. They have also tweeted that you can increase rep with the gunsmith straight away! If you're interested in a speedy start I would highly recommend doing this as it means once the 15th rolls around you can easily order a middle-tier legendary weapon (albeit you won't get it til a week later).
5. If you care about grimoire then hunt all the wolves etc before Tuesday - they are all going away to be replaced with whatever new things Oryx brings.
