I've got Infinity so shouldn't need filters unless it's not wired correctly? Fairly sure my master socket is in the garage and my modem is plugged into an extension in my sons room, I'll check at the weekend.

If you've got a filtered face plate where the modem is plugged in then you shouldn't need filters, but if it's off an extension socket every other socket with something in will need filters

Its the exotic sword from Shaxx' exotic sword quest. Pretty good that they drop at 310. Will have to do it at some point.

Where did you guys get up to last week? Did you open the portal and get through to the room with the door that has glyphs down each side?

I've a pretty good understanding of everything up to Oryx now. The raid is mostly about sequences, stepping on and off stuff in a particular order to enable damaging a boss of some sort. Golgoroth being an exception to this (no order), won't give anything away but it's simpler but still very tough. His health has now been properly estimated to between 11-12 million!

I think i'm doing that quest. Just got to the part where I did 25 crucible kills and need another 15 major kills with the sward.

Just a tip. Do the crucible Mayhem clash a you get loads of heavy drops and it's good fun. Did 20 sword kills in about 5 matches

Remal - yep that's the one - it has 4/5 steps so it takes a little while..it also involves farming materials for literally around 2 hours...that was pretty soul destroying and kept giving me flashbacks to a year ago.

I managed to do Paradox and Outbound Signal last night on my own, both pretty tough story missions I thought.

I'm getting addicted again, I've skipped the gym and a couple of off-road bike rides this week, naughty

We skipped our checkpoint and joined FIG, Glen etc at golgoroth.. Took us a while to get the right strategy but the attempt we did it on was flawless, didn't lose a life and did massive amounts of damage each run..

I the raid chest at 308 light

Then there was some more jumping!! I'm sure Glen will be posting a vid of my attempt to push him off the ledge was hilarious

I have all of Monday off. All of it. This is almost unheard of.

Anyone about for a bit of destiny grinding (need to finish the story missions, roll some strikes and might have some time in the crucible)

My main char is a warlock, and I'll keep playing it, but both the Hunter and Titan sub-classes look more exciting. I'm not really feeling the Arc-lock that much.
