yeah, think Strudel is right. I'm going to prioritise it over the exotic sword I think.

On Touch of Malice, it's not widely publicised yet but it's damage is incredible, especially against Oryx. Two of them can stagger him. His chest isn't a crit spot so the Spindle is out of the window and if you hold the relic (you're health won't diminish) you can just keep shooting him with it without worrying about it's special perk.

Another new bloody currency though, which sounds like it requires actual money.

At what level? I got the still piercer
It was part of the gunsmith quest.

From memory you had to dismantle 10 rare or legendary snipers to get the Stillpiercer.

For the next part of the quest you have to dismantle 10 rare or legendary hand cannons for the Ace of Spades.

Its worth noting that I had 2 spare legendary hand cannons in my vault, I sharded them first and that was all I needed to complete the quest.

Went up another rank with Eris last night and she gave me a new quest. The first part of which is telling me to finish the undying mind strike on heroic. It's put a new level 41 strike on my map, much like the old Thorn bounty. The quest is a yellow one so I presume it's for an exotic? Has anybody else got to do it because it doesn't matchmake, even though it says it does.
Also worth mentioning that if you have a legendary weapon year 1 or 2 it counts as 5 towards the 10 you need to dismantle. And Exotic's don't count. I dismantled 2 year 1 auto rifles on my quest as that was enough towards the 10 you need to dismantle

Doh only just seen the last part of tanks reply

Is that the hunger pangs quest? Part of touch of malice I think.
Just checked the app and yes it says Hunger Pangs. So that's interesting. No idea what set it off, I levelled up Eris and I had already been running around collecting calcified fragments beforehand (managed 37 so far).

Talking of which, has anyone completed the Court of Oryx bounty for the last fragment? I'm stuck on the cursed thrall melee kills. I've melee killed loads and not died in the CoO and non of them seem to register. I've even tried doing it away from CoO to see if it makes a difference and non of those register either. Seems like its bugged or something.

think it starts at 15 Calcified Fragments, would that make sense? Did you get them all at once?

Hunger Pangs is an odd one. You need three weapon parts for Eris that you collect through the raid to make ToM for you which is supposed to be a latter part of the questline yet I got them all from the raid and have already given them to her despite not being at that stage yet.

I pretty should that I would have had more than 15 before starting my quest for the rest last night. Unless it's 15 and level 6 Crotas Bane?

I'm only level 5 and mine started after finishing the raid and giving her the ToM pieces.

Maybe it's after a certain other questline is finished or something.

these seem to be the quests for it;

Prerequisite is to finish the Shattered Past quest line.

Step 1 – Collect Calcified Fragments

The first step involves taking a calcified fragment to Eris. Once you do this then a quest will start asking you to bring her another 5 fragments. Do this to move onto the next step.

Step 2 – Kill Bracus

The next step is a quest called “Hunger Pangs”. You need to kill Bracus. Bracus is a centurion found in the Salt Mines – Bunker WAR-4.

Step 3 – Raid and collect 3 exotic weapons

You have to kill The Warpriest for ‘Blade of Famine’, Deathsingers for ‘Shroud of Ir anuk’ and Oryx for ‘Ravenous Heart’. Once you have these items then return to Eris.

Step 4 – Collection time

Collect 25 Wormspore, 50 Hadium Flakes and 50 Weapon Parts. After handing these in she will ask for a further 30 calcified fragments! Collect these and bring them to her.

Step 5 – Kill Morgath

Once you hand in the previous collection quests your next job is to kill the Taken Knight Morgath in Undying Mind Strike. Do this and return to Eris.

Step 6 – More fragments

Another 45 calcified fragments are required to continue the quest. Hand them in!

Step 7 – Kill Mar-Zik, the Blightcaller

Your next task is to kill Mar-Zik, the Blightcaller. He is a Taken wizard that can be found on Phobos (Fear’s Embrace Mission).

Step 7 – Accept your reward!

Upon turning in the previous quest Eric will reward you for your hard efforts and give you the Touch of Malice. Have fun playing with it!

It's odd, I've done step 1, 3 and 4.

welcome back.

I don't think there was an A Team raid completion last week so I think you've been missed.

I'd keep a low profile though, visiting the US at the same time as a UK born nutter goes on a shooting spree over there has raised an eyebrow or two.... I'm sure I've heard you referred to as a 'handler'....

Did you recruit Goat to go and buy some stuff off Xur for you again?

Bracus leading to hunger pangs makes sense. I got that quest a long time ago, maybe week 1 and I was only rank 3 maybe 4 with eris.

Touch of malice does look very handy for the raid. I've made a big dent in the fragments, I think I need 2 raid ones plus picking up the odd story mission.

It's useful for daughters too as you are invulnerable.

I might be on later tonight...not sure as ever...should be able to get plenty of time later this week so would like to get a raid completion then.

Looking forward to tales from the self-proclaimed A team! :-)

That's a bit weird.

I've done steps 1 and 2.

Still need to finish off Oryx for step 3.

I have done everything mentioned for step 4 but don't recall Eris ever asking for those materials.

Step 5 - I presume is the level 41 strike I was given last night. This is when Hunger Pangs was given to me also.

Need some more fragments for step 6. Mainly CoO ones left.

T3 Court of Oryx looks harder than last week but not as bad as mini Crota.

It's Kagoor, a taken Wizard that spawns some tough Ogres and acolyte eyes. Tactic seems to be to take them all out and save your supers and swords for him.

I don't think step 3 is correct. I've been in the raid and collected 3 exotics weapons.

I reckon it's only that which sets it off, not the completion of the 'Road to Kings Fall' quest.

But I could be wrong and mine is just glitched. I'll probably end up with a Touch of WHOTHEfkISALICE

I've got a free pass Friday night, all day Saturday, probably Saturday night and probably most of Sunday day(wife's away for the weekend). Just set a time and I'll do it with you. Can just lfg it if we're short on numbers. I'm pretty comfortable with most of it but haven't had a go at relic holding for Oryx yet.

I think I'm the only person on here that's completed the raid from start to finish so I guess I should be in a team of my own..... Team Simo is now recruiting (but lets be honest, I only really need myself, you losers just have to bask in my glory). Any takers?

the 'weapons' are actually drops from three parts of the raid (the last being Oryx). They all make up pieces of the actual gun you get in the end (you can see it's made up of them, pretty cool). You've probably got two of them if you've got to the sisters.

EDIT: And how have you got three exotics from the raid?

I've done 75% of the checkpoints and all the known chests in the last two weeks and haven't had any!

There is only 50 fragments so when it say 45 more I take it that it means a total of 45 fragments?
