looks like sleeper simulant questline has just gone live....not sure why it's live now and not at the start.
Obviously spoilers in the thread below!!

Ok - they have now finished it and you don't get any loot straight away...looks like it may involve waiting a few days or possibly until the next armsday.
Speculation that the mission may only be available on armsday, so if you can do it today, suggest you do, if not we'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out...

A lot of hidden secrets in this game it would seem!
I'd just set about trying to decrypt the hash screen in the bunker/mine
Turns out it has already been solved - I wonder how the online solver decrypted it so quickly!
Doesn't seem to mean anything yet though.

Only part we are missing is the Warsat on earth, waited for over an hour and didn't see a single earth Warsat drop in any locations!

I spend over 2 hours yesterday and no luck on Mars, and I know Trash spent at least the same amount of time with no luck.
Both Earth and Moon took less than 15 minutes for me.

Yup literally 5 mins after we spawned on Mars the Warsat dropped.. I spend over 2 hours yesterday and no luck on Mars, and I know Trash spent at least the same amount of time with no luck.

Yeah was strange normally that one drops quite consistently, I patrolled moth yards, forgotten shore and skywatch and didn't get one drop, spoke to a couple of randoms and they also had been waiting around for a good while, enough time for them to drop at least twice and they hadn't had one either!!
Maybe it's a ploy, once you have 2 out of the 3 you don't get one spawn for X amount of time!!

Yeah was strange normally that one drops quite consistently, I patrolled moth yards, forgotten shore and skywatch and didn't get one drop, spoke to a couple of randoms and they also had been waiting around for a good while, enough time for them to drop at least twice and they hadn't had one either!!

Jammy bd. You must have had the only Mars warsat yesterday.Now up to 42 calcified fragments. Got 2 easy ones to get in the raid, one from a tier 2 CoO and two from tier 2 CoO.
We did a few tier 3's last night with 4 other random strangers. Not too difficult but what we did find was that the enemies definitely scale to the amount of players present. The more players in there, the harder it was.
I set one off just as all of the randoms disappeared and we found it much easier with just myself and Gav.
One thing to note on the calcified fragments is that all 50 can be collected by each of your characters, but they are tracked across your account based on the grimoire.
So in reality my hunter has collected 41/50 not 42 as I mentioned, because one of those was picked up with my titan last night by mistake. I need to go back with my hunter to collect it (sunless cell strike).
I was wondering why my titan got the quest from Eris to collect calcified fragments even though I thought I had very few still to get, so this is the reason. So I would recommend getting them all with a single character first to avoid confusion.
Same, I've got 39 shards and I want to get rid of some.
But Tom is off until Monday, don't think Glen is on until Sunday, I think Gav is away, not sure about Innocent.
Goat may be up for it but we'll have to pull in reserves I think, so anyone up for it tonight?
One thing I forgot to mention. Did anyone get the Eirene RR4 sniper from last weeks gunsmith order?
Great weapon, its impact is half way between 1000 Yard Stare and Black Spindle! I got a void one with Luck in the Chamber, Injection Mold and Zen Moment/Shoot to Loot. Wasn't expecting much but pleasantly surprised with this one.

To be honest I already feel like I have enough guns...well I want hung jury and then that's it...
What I really want are raid guns and higher light...but will be away for a week or so, so no destiny for me.
Will try again once I'm back.
Infusing stuff up to high light feels like quite a commitment so I only really want to do it on the "must have" guns.
Edit - I managed to lock up destiny pretty quickly last night using the vanity hand cannon. Looks like any closeish headshot with litc will do it.

It happened to me twice on Tuesday for the first time, both instances in the Nightfall, but my Vanity doesn't have LitC and it still locked the game up.Edited by Irrotational on Thursday 8th October 09:41
Haven't had any issues with Ace of Spades so far and I've been using that a lot.
Perhaps its this particular weapon with firefly?
Apologies for the double post - just doing this while I remember...
I don't know if anyone cares enough about perks to do this, but with a spare character and the gunsmith you can stack up a LOT of rolls on weapons over time.
Any order you don't collect in a week is still available the week after but with different perks....
On a spare character this means you can stack 27 orders (9 per slot) and at gunsmith rank 3 you'll have 81 rolls per week to choose from!!
I don't know if many people will really do this because if you play a lot you probably use all 3 chars, and if you don't then you probably won't care about perks enough to setup the system.
Basically just keep putting in orders for guns you fancy, and only collect them if the perks are absolutely what you want.
Don't know if I've seen him selling a Heavy weapon yet though?
