Very, very impressive and worth watching. Not a single bit of cheese in sight either.
Watching videos now the raid seems to favour the toughness and use of shield bubble of the Titan, how do you find running the raid with a Titan as opposed to a Hunter, I am beginning to think I chose the wrong Character!...Just watched this speed run of the hard raid: -

The most important thing is player skill, not which character you've chosen.Understanding your chosen characters sub class strengths and weaknesses comes second. They all require adapting to.

Tom had a poor experience on the hard raid with randoms the other night. Suffice to say that there are a lot of level 30 players in this game now that I can only assume have cheesed their way to this level, and clearly dont have a clue how to play it properly.
Take solice in the fact that those stripes have been earnt the hard way.

Is anyone on tonight? Has anyone been doing iron banner? Trying to work out whether I should try and grind to rank 3 for the gloves...or if I'm better off levelling weapons and having fun in the raid (if anyone does it)

I tried my best on Friday, but as a level 29 I'm not doing enough damage. Always seemed to be out of, or nearly out of ammo too.Saturday I wouldn't have made it. I was at the rugby during the day and drank more than I should've. I was shoehorned into bed at 9pm never to see the rest of the night!

I know , it's not so much we're not good enough to do it, it's getting everyone a high enough level to beat it on hard, it was taking our lvl 29 players 4 hits with an ice breaker just to take out an oracle last night. Hopefully tommorrow , once we start fresh on the hard raid we will hit a bit of luck and make it all the way through, I really want the vex mythoclast!
It does seem that 29'ers can't really compete on Hard, unless they maybe get carried by 4+ 30's. That's a shame, I also am sick of being a 29'er but it's a long slog to get to 30.

Got my second warlock up to lvl 30 yesterday thanks to the helmet dropping from Atheon on Saturday along with Vex Mythoclast. Its surprising the difference from 29 - 30 in the Hard raid does. Hopefully can get a group together tomorrow to complete it all the way through think it may need a little patience but i think we can do it. Still need to get myself a vision of confluence then im happy lol
After everyone got logged off by a bug and sensibly called it a day, Wuddie and I carried on trying to cheese him....suffice to say it did not end well!
Probably a combination of it being really hard and my mediocre grenading skills!
We did manage to trap him at the front, and I even got him backwards off the platform...but he went back onto the middle platform and instantly teleported back to the main area. You have to get him to walk off but to the left* between the middle platform and the portal area.
Each attempt takes 15 minutes or so to rebuild your super and gets pretty tense!
* left as you start the level- right as you are facing him trying to get him towards the back of the room
Things that go wrong:-
1. He turns right at the bottom of the steps not straight on...he has to see you on the middle platform to come right down to check.
2. The first grenade doesn't immediately stop him from stepping backwards as soon as he sees you
3. The second grenade doesn't keep him in the little area without walls
4. He kills you really quickly as sunsinger comes up.
It's obviously do-able...but not without a lot of patience. To be fair 5 people could probably just stand at the spawn point and AFK while the 6th tries to do it...
