I'd love a Monte Carlo one of a few exotics I've never had!!!
Got me a telesto from a stored exotic too, again one I'd never had :£
Btw the exotic khovostov is pretty damn cool!!
There's 2 ways to start the quest, either breakdown a stored yr1 version or go to the beginning area where we were woken by ghost, board the kell ship, kill everything and then a chest spawns in the back and gives you the exotic blueprint.. you can then visit the guy at the iron hang out and he wlll give you the quest line, only takes about an hour to complete.

Just google a video for it, it's hard to explain. You need to start in the plaguelands area and then backtrack to the cosmodrome, where you'll find it snowing heavily and overrun with SIVA. If you just drop into the cosmodrome patrol you won't be able to get to the chest.What is the easiest route back to the start in Old Russia? it has been so long since I went that way...
Monte Carlo is a beast of a gun btw, if you spec a build that allows good bonuses for melee kills or strikes, as such skills that give you and overshield when using a charged melee. Monte Carlo allows for permanent overshield pretty much.

Huh! I went into that ship during the story mission and killed everything, but no chest spawned then...

I am 351 after playing last night, I can get to 352 via a known artifact, and after that I can probably pop a few engrams to get to 353...not sure what happens after that!

I'm quite gutted - am in a hotel room and the internet was working fine last night...now it is working well enough to get me all the way into orbit....then it hangs on "stabilising party" and won't let me launch anything.
So close and yet so far :-(
you 2 know who you are. Sorry Remal, I saw your invite but was in the middle of a fraught battle and then got distracted trying to do a few things at once 
The grind for light levels is real... legendary engrams and packages only seem to come out one higher than current light level...so the only reliable way I can see to gain light is grinding Siva strikes. The blues at the end are often 2 above char level and very rarely 3 higher. You get two per strike so it's 5 strikes to get 10 drops and maybe go up one light level... 350 to 365 is 15 levels so that's 75 strikes!!

I've confirmed that you can get skeleton keys from regular normal level SIVA strikes (the playlist which doesn't have nightfall modifiers), I did 20 strikes split over last night and this morning and got 3 skeleton keys along the way.
Are these the strikes at 350 light? I did the bond brothers strike and the final room was well a challenge.... It is a tough one - Bungie seemed determined to make players run and shoot, so they have dropped an indestructible ogre to chase everyone around in circles!
