First part of the raid was pish easy, once we worked out my weapons were crap and that I was better being a runner.

Hopefully get a chance to continue from where we left off over the weekend.

Quiet day at the office so had a little look on YouTube, a good point for those doing the RotM raid is to make sure you have the Metal and Flesh quest from Shiro.

Crap!

Just accidentally dismantled my year 2 vendor hung jury with the crazy good roll... current vendor roll is nowhere near as good. Any ideas? :'(

Oh no!!! I love my hung jury it's great. I mean mida is a good alternative. I also run tllaloc when sun singer as it deals extra damage.
For a legendary scout I don't have another suggestion!

Crucible quartermaster opposite Lord Shax in the tower, the bloke with the guns; The Hero Formula, legendary scout rifle with explosive rounds, life support and third eye. Nineteen round magazine, quick reload and ROF about on part with Mida. Thank me later, it's an absolute beast.

I've got a Tueno(?) sr4 which looks like the same scout rifle in black, 100 stability, firefly, triple-tap... I'm watching the X factor with the missus, so I've not been able to pull the trigger with it yet

TTK vendor stuff has completely gone now, so I can't even get the post-April HJ. Serves me right for tidying up the inventory and infusing while I had a few minutes and after a few vodkas... live and learn.

Edit - omi your tuonela sounds like it has great perks. I would test it out, it should be very good.

I got super lucky tonight. Got a chance to start playing at 10.15, checked reddit fireteams and first post was a group at final boss of raid with some extra spoiler stuff done.

Took a few goes but got the final boss down.

I got the raid scout rifle, it does a lot of damage on fallen and it has a double triple tap perk... think it will be my new base weapon! I'm also the proud owner of a Siva engine! I need to get a fireteam to do random stuff now!

Did you have to collect all of the monitors or did you just drop into their game with the path to the final monitor opened? Have you collected all the other monitors in a different run, or do you only ultimately need monitor 5 to get the SIVA engine and start the quest?

Hiya! Monitor progress is tracked per raid instance, so if at least one person stays in a raid where the monitors are all activated, then new people can come in and they are still activated. If all people leave then monitor progress is completely reset. Monitors aren't saved at checkpoints or anything like that, so at least one person has to get from the start, to finish of the raid activating all monitors along the way. (Monitor itself may have been physically switched on by someone else, but the game remembers that it is still on in the session)

Does that make sense?

I get you, cheers for the quick response. I very much want to get my hands on the Outbreak Prime. What light were you when you finished the raid? I was about 360 and holding my own against the boss the other night, we were getting close but probably started too late in the evening so ran out of time at the end. I'm 366 now, so would like to get back in, I've only had one go at it so far. After the way we imperiously crushed the hard mode challenges with all 3 characters week in, week out in TTK, I'd like to get this one mastered too.
