Just done atheon on hard with three other 30's and two 29's and we walked it.

We only wiped once when three got booted.

Took 3 rotations and his health bar was so close when we he teleported for the 4th rotation that we managed to put him down whilst he was stood still.

Different tactics to our normal routine. Use the back wall instead of the centre platform. You have less time this way but easier for everyone to stay alive.

I also reckon hunters with golden gun active are more useful not holding the relic. On two rotations I took down the pretorian with 4 gg shots, and took down two hobgoblins in the other.

So I'm not touching the relic in future biggrin

Since the update I'm getting kicked fairly often now. What day does the weekly reset happen?

Should we be taking down the pretorian and hobgoblin? I though they were needed to charge the relic?

Play it safe. Better to be alive and cope with slightly more temporary blindness than a wipe biggrin

Hi all, some of you know me from playing Forza 4 and 5 with me GT EVILHOMER40.

Had Destiny for a while but not the greatest player at FPS so struggled for a while til a couple of mates gave me advice. I didn't bother posting on here as I honestly thought I'd be trading it in as the grind was getting a bit tedious and I felt I'd never he good enough to join a raiding party.

However, I hit level 27 over the weekend and got invited to do a raid which was an awesome buzz when we completed it!

I now totally get the need for farming and at some point I'd love to jump in a raid with some fellow PH'ers. As soon as I can get my laptop fired up I'll join the clan smile

You can't be more of a burden than I usually am mate...

(although, I actually did manage to feel slightly useful last night; other members of the party may disagree)

Little tip if like me, you play on the 360 version as well as the xbox one version.

Buy the DLC for the Xbox 360 as it enables the same DLC for free on the Xbox one, (They're both £34.99 for the pass.) If you buy the Xbox one version and want to go back to the 360, you'll need to buy the 360 version separately.

summoning pits nightfall if anyone is interested.
Modifiers;
Epic
Juggler
Angry
Void Burn

Will try to get on and get it done tonight (as well as the weekly and dailys) but it's my 30th tomorrow and then I'm reviewing an F-Type R from Thursday so will struggle to make time for the rest of the week!

I always find the summoning pits harder than it should be. That sounds very hard indeed.
I'm out tonight, but happy birthday for tomorrow and enjoy the jaaaaaaag.

Reading a few comments from those who've already done it, general consensus is that Arc Burn is tougher than void. It'll be OK.

Summoning pits is easy to cheese. I'll be doing this one solo. Atheons Epilogue will help with void burn. smile

Interesting as you still need to cover the other burn types. Solar for the wizards shields and arc for the knights shields.

Wouldn't stand too long in front of Phogoth either as he deals void.

I try not to generally to be honest. He's fried me too often.
My fusion rifle deals void damage and hits reasonably hard. Might be useful.

Void sniper from the room behind the shrieker would be my bet. Even a rare void sniper would hit harder than my arc patience and time.

I thought we got to Atheon pretty rapid last night and if it wasn't for us having a practice going different ways we would have done it in under an hour.

Well done to gav who got his final piece of raid armour to hit 30, that pre raid rant worked wonders biggrin

I've had no raid gear yet, just weapons.

I'll be up for another raid this Saturday at 9. smile

It was quick and fairly clean, just a bit of experimenting at the end extended the time slightly.

And congrats to Gav. I do admit that I did cringe ever so slightly when Fugitive was complaining that he was tired of being a level 29 'for a whole 2 weeks' biggrin

I thought Gav and Innocent managed to keep their cool quite well at that point......
