Yep, old raids are coming back at 390...Sounds like they've been lightly breathed on to make them better.
They specifically mentioned making confluxes slightly shorter to avoid losing time wiping on 3 confluxes.
The old raids will also get challenge modes AND ornaments for gear.
The book also has some interesting side objectives. They showed one for killing ALL Gorgons in the 390 light version. That takes serious coordination!

The raids are 6 player co-op and they are THE BEST co-op experience you can have in an FPS bar none...you need 6 people who are decent human beings (Or Glennred and Trash!! ;-) to be patient and keep plugging away during failed attempts.

Hello ladiez, I'm still alive 
I've not spent much time on the XBox at all, but did boot up Destiny for the first time in about 9 months last weekend to have a mess around.
Enjoyed the new content and the updated strikes are a good change. Think I'm up to 378 light on my Hunter and got my Gjallahorn, so not bad for just a few hours. Just need to finish off the raids I haven't completed.
If they are updating all the raids then I'll be up for running the Vault and Crota for s
ts and giggles. Even if it's to once again experience the old GOAT loadout of an up to date Fatebringer, Black Hammer and 'Horn.
I'll be around on the weekends mainly. Don't get much time in the week.

378 in a few hours is good work! I saw you had popped some of the RoI achievements.
I am generally around so will keep an eye out on weekends if you're about.
I never got fatebringer, although I'm half a perk away from having a fakebringer...Very tempted to do VoG with it and see if a real one drops!
The new raid is pretty cool, especially first time through. If you're up for a challenge you should try and get outbreak prime, it's a fun challenge. You just need 4 people good at jumping and 2 good at binary
So, I've been playing a bit of destiny lately too.... am up to 380-381 ish.. need a better ghost to get to 385 ish I reckon
so far I've only been doing daily and weekly bounties.. but now really am looking to get back in to the RAIDS..
Is anyone around on Tuesday and Thursday nights to get some raids going?? Would be looking to get the New Raid (normal and hard modes) done ASAP

Had a good laugh on destiny last night with Innocent..
we managed to 2 man the Taniks Nightfall (although not quite in the time limt!!)
ran some patrols and archon forge, smashed some Siva Strikes... and then took ages killing the updated Omnigul strike.. with arc burn turned on!!!
just need a few more of the old guard back so we can fire up some Raids!!!
