Get on a raid with some higher levels, bag your self some raid gear and upgrade that All the legendary are upgraded and I just need ascendant shards to do it. What's the best way?

If you struggle getting in raids then consider the following; All the legendary are upgraded and I just need ascendant shards to do it. What's the best way?

I spent ages farming get shards. Every day do the daily and one public event.
Also, keep buying legendary armour and scrap it, nets you another 2-3.
The nightfall can gain you 10 too so try to get in on a nightfall once a week.
This weekend seemed quite quiet - I got on at 11 last night but I think everyone had called it a day.
There are quite a few people who want to do a normal raid still - maybe everyone can sort something this week/weekend?
Can we get another 6 people online on tuesday night for a normal raid (as I'm sure there will be a hard raid attempt with the 5 30's).
Other option based on recent posts would be an attempt on friday night or saturday night?
I've been reading up a little bit on light levels in the new DLC - some things about light level and how you can get there have been confirmed. I've spoilered it just in case people don't want to know - please spoiler if you are commenting on it.
They have confirmed that Dark Below Raid is rated as 30 BUT note this is a "normal" 30 not heroic 30, so resurrection will be allowed, enemies not quite as manic etc. Should be feasible for 28 and 29's to take part.
Secondly they have confirmed that you can "buy" your way up to 30 and a "bit" beyond. I'm guessing you'll be able to buy up to level 31 and level 32 will need to be RNG drops from the raid.
Thirdly I've seen some comments that the hard raid will be level 33 but you can only get 32 gear...but that seems to be rumour/random...I'm not convinced.

Been reading elsewhere on the level cap rise and it's quite clever marketing IMO. I'm guessing that above level 30 is only available to those paying for the DLC.
The hard raid will be fun at the level 32 cap. I can only assume that they want hard mode to be even more elitist that the current one. They did want only the most hard core of gamers finishing it.
I only hope that their testers have been trying every possible 'cheese' and exploit before launch.

Above 30 is definitely only possible with DLC armour...well...I guess they could offer upgrades to current armour that anyone could get...but I can't see it. All the new stories and missions are locked behind Eris and are DLC.The hard raid will be fun at the level 32 cap.
