20 is the current soft level cap. After that, I think certain bits of gear confer level boosts. I'm at level 18 now.

20 is the level cap for now, armour infused with light is what gets you a higher level.
Hit level 21 now it's just a grind to get motes of light, strange coins and vangaurd/crucible marks to get better armour

Same, enjoying it so far. Good games when you're in a fire team. Just unlocked the bladedancer skill tree for hunter at level 15 so that will keep me going for a while. There's a fair bit to do with missions,patrols & strikes and MP is good now I know some maps!

I am surprised the level cap is set so low. I'm almost at 20 and I've barely played the game in comparison to say, Borderlands topping out at level 60 to start with.

I've done quite a bit of exploring around the four worlds (looking for loot chests!) and there are at least two areas I've found on each that are locked off and can't currently be accessed. They are usually guarded by over powered enemies too.

The name of these areas even appears on the screen but there will be a door or similar in the way preventing you from progressing. So it should be interesting as to how these are incorporated into the game over time.

So everyone is accepted to the group now. Not everyone has then gone back in and added themselves to the clan.

I've also added a couple of posts asking for some help with admin for the clan and also another post looking to find which members have now hit lvl 20.

Unfortunately the game doesn't seem to inform you when clan members are online, so will need to add each other into our friends list which I think a lot of us have started to do or have done.

I've just finished the achievements for 100 kills for Titan, Hunter and Warlock classes. I'm not sure why but the Warlock classes are by far the most popular, with Hunter slightly behind and the Titan class waaaaay, way less popular. Getting 100 kills for Titans was difficult as in a 6v6 game, you'd average one Titan per team, so it took a while to grind out the result I was after. I also find the Sunsinger class is overpowered in the Crucible. The flaming pistol ability seems to destroy most everything it hits in one shot.


I'm going to hop on the Bungie site now and try and find the PH Clan (I'm Indigo Potato).

I got given an Exotic Bounty in the Tower last night. Complete 5 strike missions without dying! I've managed three so far.

Thought I'd give the weekly heroic strike on the Moon a bash. Absolutely solid. Managed to get about a third of the way through before I gave up. I didn't realise at the time that it's for co-op fireteams, it's not 'matchmaking' me up with another two players Still, not to bad on my own.

If anyone wants to give it a crack, send me an invite.

Spent a wee while farming on earth, ended up with 4 other guardians mauling anything that came out of the cave, got about 30 uncommon engrams,9 rares but no legendarys however one of the others did, once my crypt arch levels up I should start getting better drops.

I just finished the last story mission there. Teeing up nicely for more missions and more games in future. I'm sure the 'Bane Of The Emperor' achievement is bugged though, as I've been headshotting Cabal everywhere for ages and it still hasn't unlocked. Even on missions where I've counted well in excess of 50 critical kills on a clean run.
