I seem to have found multiple ways to be 29...still...
Rolled the dice on the helmet engram and got one for my warlock! So NY recently levelled 33 hat is now a bit pointless.
Ground out some marks to buy new boots and then got a blue glove engram turn into purple gloves!
So I am still 29 but with 3 out of 4 new bits of armour and I can get straight to 31 with that as the extra light on the exotic should hopefully offset the lower light on my chest...
All I need are some bounties and a rather frightening amount of materials...

Bought 6 exotic engrams, got the Symbiote and Knucklehead radar for my hunter, skull of dire ahamkara and obsidian mind for a warlock and the glasshouse and helm of inmost light for my titan.
Bought another Symbiote.
Also bought 2 x truths. Sharded my old truths, a SUROS, a TLW, 2 x Plan C and 4 armour pieces to make room. It feels really odd sharding exotics, slightly queasy even....
I (TheFugitiveMind)will be L31 by Monday evening if anyone wants to give the new raid a bash, will be on this afternoon and tonight and would not mind doing the VOG on hard as need some better weapons. I started upgrading my raid gauntlets but then realized i wont have enough new shards to max them out so I have put them to oneside at the moment. Got the worst luck on nightfall-a legengary engram which turned into 2 ass shards what a waste of time.

We run the first parts with our alts last night. We've got a good system now and it's fairly straight forward IMO. Manic as hell but really good fun.Not been on much over the weekend but might pop on a bit tonight and will make time for nightfall and weekly tomorrow.
I got invited into a team to take down Crota last night, but after a couple of wipes people started to leave. No idea why but it is bloody tough.
I used the checkpoint to show the lads from here the mechanics and what happens. We had a couple of goes but it wasn't a serious attempt. A team full of 31's would make a big difference too.
Still, quite happy to keep running the first half of the raid for the loot. Got a hunter chest piece, and titan gloves and boots so far.

One thing I need to find out. I am having issues with the mic. I don't use it for other games but both my OE mic and the kinetic will not allow me to talk to others on the game. I have done the tests with the mic outside of the game and seems to work 100%. turning on and off the tv and the test
Anyone else had issues with the mic in the game? I'm not sure how to test it via the game. It used to work and just wondering if anything I have done in the game to screw it up

No mate that was the new strike we did.Does your mic work for other games? What about party chat as that has nothing to do with the in game chat. If that doesn't work then I can only assume that it's the head set that's knackered.

I might take you up on that, I'll be pretty much 31 if I had a bunch of radiant shards and I'm thinking the raid is the only way to get them.RemaL said:
