Theres no winners in this thread, only two losers.
I don't know.

There was a misunderstanding, between two people of different situations (one busy traveller, and one unemployed resident)

The worst anyone can be accused of is taking things a little too seriously... Perhaps being insensitive to the other's situation.

There are far worse things people can do to each other. Hardly worth getting your knickers in a twist over.
If theres anything the OP needs to take away from this, its the above.

Wise words THX.

Yeah I think so. I edited my post. The general point stands even if the saving wasn't applicable. He still invited into his home etc

And there's the Video Games forum meme right there.

I'm so proud to have been there to see it.

I missed out on hammering frozen sausages into a front lawn on SP&L, and also the powerfully built company director one too.

I.T. workers all over the country (3 of them) are soon going to be walking along, giggling to themselves incessantly with "mate, don't message us again" emblazoned across their proud chest.

Or "Tight Arse" on the back - The bonus is in this case that the double entendre is fully implied! wink

So is the conclusion to this thread that those who play computer games need to get out more often, or less often? I'm thoroughly confused.

What a fantastic thread. I feel sorry for thetrash; when someone makes a big thing out of something trivial involving you, it's borderline impossible to escape without looking like a tt. hehe
